1.5 years post op - How close to my original shape can a revision achieve? (Photos)
My surgeon perform a series of procedures that were not discussed and agreed upon. During my initial consultation he suggested that due to my previous septoplasty my bony septum was deficient for grafting and in order to improve my breathing and to straighten my tip he required rib cartillage. He used 2 septal extension, 4 spreader and 2 alar rim grafts for my primary rhinoplasty. After surgery I learned that he filed my nasal bones which I was NOT asking for and now I feel uneven dents all over my bony bridge and the contours of my bony edges are messed up and undefined as they were before. My breathing got significantly worse which I suspect is because the grafts he used are too wide since I can feel them protrude inside my nose. Also he made my infratip lobule and columella turned up in a straight line which made my nose shorter in front and overprojected in profile. My tip became wider and less defined overall and on top of that it became extremely rigid and very uncomortable, my upper lip cant fully move up because he placed SEG too low inside columellas base which also made it twice as wide. My questions are: 1) Will removing my rib grafts help bring back my original nasal tip shape, specifically the infratip lobule original roundess, derotate and deproject the tip as it was before and make the size and shape of the nostrils like they were? 2) Can these grafts be diced and placed on the dents on nasal bones to smooth its surface or recreate its shape? 1,5 year post op
