Would a breast lift correct my uneven chest and stretch marks? (photos)

Thank you for your query. Some asymmetry of the breasts is almost universal. When considering surgery, you have to weigh the scarring that will follow the breast lift versus the benefits which are- symmetry and lifting of the breasts. A single sided lift is also an option as is a non surgical breast lift. Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. In your question you mentioned "uneven chest", I am not sure if you mean that you have breast size/shape discrepancy or you are having issues with your actual chest wall. I will assume that you mean breast asymmetry for the sake of answering this question as it appears from the limited photos that you do.
when it comes to breast asymmetry it is very common and can be addressed by performing a lift and in some cases a reduction if the discrepancy is significant. Would it get rid of stretch marks? well if the stretch marks are within the area that will be excised then it will otherwise unfortunately it will not.what it will solve is the discrepancy in size (or at least get them closer to each other, in certain cases complete symmetry is unattainable), and will lift them and provide a more desirable shape and nipple position. That being said each surgery has it's benefits and potential complications and tradeoffs that are better discussed with your surgeon, for example trading a better shape for scars, possibility of not being able to breast feed, possibility of loss of sensation to the nipple etc.
I would also wait till your hormones normalize and your weight is stable before venturing on your surgical transformation journey. I hope this answer helps. Best of luck !

If you are unhappy with the asymmetry of your breast size and shape, a breast lift would be able to help achieve better symmetry. However, the procedure is not designed to address stretch marks.

Thanks for your question. Yes, a breast can correct breast asymmetry. It does not remove stretch marks, only in the area of the skin that is removed with the breast lift incision. Hope this helps. Thank you for your photographs. The first factor to consider is the position of your nipple and areola with regard to your inframammary fold. If your nipple is below the fold, then the breast lift would benefit you. If your nipple is at or only slightly above the level of the fold there should be some discussion with your plastic surgeon about how much benefit you could expect. I see some asymmetry with your right breast being larger than your left breast and lower than your left breast. To achieve as much symmetry as possible, as well as give your breasts a lift, a right reduction with a left breast lift would accomplish that. One of your main concerns was your stretch marks on your breasts. Remember that if you have a breast lift, you will have incision lines on the front of your breast that will be as permanent as your stretch marks. You need to weigh the benefit of a breast lift with the trade off of incision lines, which will be there for the rest of your life. Have a detailed discussion about this with your plastic surgeon. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief. Yes it will! A breast lift will obviously lift your breasts and it will help give you more symmetry. A breast lift tends to reduce the breast a little and it also gets rid of excess skin. This makes for tighter breasts, and because we are excising skin it will also get rid of most of your stretch marks.

Thank you for your question and pictures. From the pictures, it appears that you would be a candidate for a breast lift. However, unfortunately, the stretch marks appear to be mainly in the upper breast skin above the areolas and this skin is not removed during a breast lift. This does not however prevent getting a breast lift to tighten some the breast skin envelop and raise the nipple height. Be sure to consult with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for your procedure.

From the photos you are a candidate for a breast lift. This would raise the position of the nipple, address asymmetry, and reduce the size of the areola. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
