Today marks 2 weeks post-op & I regret my decision ever since. My depression & anxiety are through the roof. I am dissatisfied with the size, they look too big on me & make me look top heavy. & my anxiety is being terrified of developing BII or worse, cancer. I want & will get my implants out with the capsule. My “?” is when. How soon can my body handle going through surgery again?
Answer: Implant removal Dear jesscarlett, most surgeons would recommend you wait to see the final results and then decide if you want them removed. However, if you want removal, then it can also be done. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: First of all... talk Recovering from plastic surgery is challenging. First, I would encourage you to reach your surgeon and talk with him. Sometimes after surgery, patients experience anxiety or depression. These kinds of feelings and thoughts are encountered frequently. From a technical and biological perspective, the surgery can be done. However, in a few weeks or months, you might regret going in that direction again. Talk with your surgeon, and be patient; swelling will subside. You need to wait to see the actual result of your surgery.

Answer: Implant removal I'm sorry to hear of the concerns you have after breast augmentation. Though you may want to take time to be sure of your decision, you can elect to have them removed at any time. If you get them explanted soon you may not be able to have the capsule removed as it will be very thin and may not be fully formed. Your surgeon will discuss your options with you.
