Question

I had Liposuction on my arms in 2014. Over the years my skin has become so uneven. Working out does not help. Is there a procedure or surgery help smooth out my arms and improve the appearance.

Thank you for your question regarding whether you can improve the appearance of your arms, and for providing your history and pictures.

In regards to your arms, you need an arm lift or brachioplasty. Arm liposuction made your condition worse because the fat was removed and left the skin literally hanging. Now you need a procedure to remove the excess hanging skin.

During a brachioplasty, arm liposuction is performed, and an incision is made from the armpit to the elbow. A large elliptical area of skin and fat is removed from the inner arm. The incision can be carried around the elbow to get rid of excess skin and fat near the elbow. The procedure takes about 3 to 4 hours under general anesthesia. Drains usually are not needed, and it is an outpatient procedure.

You are usually able to return to work approximately two weeks after the brachioplasty. Please seek an experienced plastic surgeon for this procedure.

Thanks for your question and the photos you uploaded. Looking at your arms, it appear as thought you may benefit from another round of liposuction to the upper arms. You may also consider adding skin tightening to the area. BodyTite with Morpheus 8 is radiofrequency heat that can help tighten the skin.

The lumpy appearance is because of the combination of saggy skin and aggressive liposuction. 
So most likely you will be candidate for Braquioplasty to tighten the skin. Sometimes if the lumpy is very deep, certain areas won’t go away completely.

Yes, you can have minimally invasive radiofrequency skin tightening like Renuvion or ThermiTight to tighten and improve your skin. Also, micro-needling with radiofrequency would be helpful to treat all the skin for more tightening after the initial surgery.

An exam or further photos of your arms is needed to give the correct recommendation.  If you have excess fat and skin laxity you may be a candidate for an arm lift (brachioplasty) which addresses both concerns and improves the overall contour of the arms.  There are other less invasive options, such as BodyTite, depending on the severity of your condition.  I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
