Thank you for your question. Although the results of ThermiRF are very long-lasting, they are not typically permanent. You may experience firmer skin for many years after your procedure as this treatment works deeply into the dermal layers to achieve dramatic results. However, over time, the effects of aging will once again take their toll and you will likely need another procedure to maintain your more youthful appearance. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in this treatment to ensure you achieve the best possible outcome with your treatment.

Thermi RF uses a small probe that’s inserted under your skin to conduct radiogrequency energy through your tissues, prompting them to contract and produce youthful new collagen. These effects are permanent. However, your skin continues to age with time and also must be well tended to so that your skin continues to look younger and tighter than those of your peers. When I treat the neck area, I often combine Thermi with microliposuction for a greatly improved contour. These results last five years or longer. Thank you for your question.  I recommend a combination of procedures for optimal results.
  
ThermiTight utilizes a small electrode inserted under the skin to heat tissue to a selected therapeutic temperature.  Literature has shown that elevating skin to a therapeutic temperature level can contract collagen molecules and stimulate collagen production, which may give the appearance of lifting or tightening.   Fat reduction is rare, unless set to high temperatures and kept at high temperatures for a significant amount of time .  Results are not permanent however, can last up to several years.
To best answer your question,  it  depends on how much skin laxity you have.   ThermiTight can work well in the thigh area to tighten skin that is mild to moderately laxity.  Surgery may be a better option, if you have excessive laxity.   Results with ThermiTight vary from patient to patient.  You should experience some overall improvement.

No matter what anti-aging regimen you use to turn back the clock, the results can never be permanent because we all continue to age. However, Thermi RF and other effective anti-aging treatments will rejuvenate your face and skin significantly. The rejuvenating effect will be apparent for about 2 to 3 years. At that time, you would need another treatment to resurface the skin and re-stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist for your Thermi RF treatments for the best results.

ThermiRF results are long-lasting and may need treatments for maintenance. They typically last 2-3 years. I combine laser with RF treatments like Thermage once yearly and monthly venus legacy or exilis ultra and get fantastic results. Long term sculptra helps stimulate collagen and enhances the tissue tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist.  Novathreads can be added to get more lifting. Best, Dr. Emer.

training doctors. We do think that somewhere between 5 and 10 years results will
fade. Afterall, 10 years into the future still means you'll be 10 years older. So at
that point you can still do things to keep you looking young.
