I will be doing either a round of lipo or lipo/bbl, but I am not sure if lipo is enough. My goal is to have a flat tummy & a smaller waist, however not looking for a huge butt. I want it to bw proportionate to my body. I am wondering if I will have a good result with just lipo or should I do a bbl as well ? I have always felt like I havw no butt, and I have a squared shape. Iam hoping for a nice body but nothing too big or exaggerated.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Liposuction will be a great option for you. If you feel like you want volume in your buttocks, then adding a BBL will be helpful. Based on your photos, I don’t believe that you will need a tummy tuck.

Thank you for your question.  Looking at the photos you have provided I would suggest having a tummy tuck to help remove the extra skin, tighten up the abdominal wall muscles and give you the flattest belly one can give you.  Some Surgeons will liposuction the flank area and whatever fat they get out they can place into the buttocks to help with better shape.  Sometimes I suggest taking some fat from the thigh area as well because it allows us to do add some more fat to the buttocks.  Fat is variable, we don't know exactly how much will last so we tend to over compensate knowing your body will break some of the fat down.  I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your question about whether liposuction alone will be enough to achieve the body shape you desire.

After examining the photos, it is likely that some excess skin may remain after liposuction which could make it difficult to get a small waist and desired shape. We recommend a combination of liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks and hips, followed by a tummy tuck (2-3 months later) in order to give you the best results without an exaggerated look.

Based on your photos and your goals, liposuction may not adequately address the potential skin excess that might exist if you completely remove all of the fat. You might be best seeking a lower body lift to address the skin excess and adipose tissue.

Liposuction is a great procedure to help contour the midsection/back/and anywhere on your body. You have a good frame and a natural hourlglass type figure. You would have enough fat for a BBL, but you would also have a nice buttocks with liposuction alone, there is no right answer. It all depends on your preferences. One thing to consider is the possibility of loose skin after liposuction. Some patients opt for skin removal and others opt for radiofrequency based tightening modalities at the same time as liposuction.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. It seems like you know what you want really well! Which is a great first for surgery.
360 degrees lipocustion would get you a smaller waist and flatter tummy. This will lead your buttocks to appear bigger but just to give it a little volume, bbl can be performed after the liposuction. If you explain your wishes to the doctor like you did here, he/she wouldn't give big, perky butt. Depending on his skills and quality, the butt area can be shaped naturally to look rounder. 
For your abdominal area, we can not be sure if your skin will retract after having the liposuction. It depends on your age / weight / metabolism. I don't think you need a tummy tuck at this stage. 
My suggestion for you is to have 360 liposuction on your abdominal area and BBL to give a bit volume and shape to your buttocks.

Based on the inclothing! posted photos you will need 2 rounds of surgery. In either order but I prefer lipo 360 with BBL as round 1. After 3-6 months if needed, which I think it will be to obtain a "flat tummy and smaller waist", a full TT with muscle plication, additional lipo and added BBL if needed. Both times if doing a BBL must use ultrasound guided injections of fat. Expect fees en toto in the $15,000-$25,000 ranges. Best to virtual consult with....

To make assessment regarding your bottom we need to see what it looks like. Try the same before and after pictures but include your bottom half wearing revealing undergarments. you can crop your head if you wanna maintain anonymity.
Do you have a moderate amount of skin laxity and most plastic surgeons will probably recommend a tummy tuck. In the end it depends what you’re trying to achieve and what you’re willing to go through. If you want a tight flat abdomen you’ll need a full tummy tuck if you just wanna reduce the subcutaneous fat layer then Liposuction will do that. to get an idea of how thick your subcutaneous fat layer is take one finger and gently touch your skin and slowly push into your skin until you feel the underlying muscle wall. it’s a gentle touch and I’m guessing on your mid abdomen your subcutaneous fat layer is probably about 1 inch or maybe 1.5 inches.
You can expect your abdomen to come in by about 1 inch from Liposuction. Anything more than that will require a full tummy tuck.
Delivering consistent high-quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe in this is true for both patients and plastic surgeons. Most plastic surgeons think they are better at liposuction than they actually are. Liposuction and fat transfer has more variance or difference in outcome purely based on who does the procedure than any other surgical procedure I’ve ever seen. Being board-certified in plastic surgery with an overall good reputation is not sufficient to guarantee that somebody has mastered body contouring with liposuction and fat transfer. Personally I view the torso as a single anatomic unit and either treated the entire torso or don’t do Liposuction. There are of course exceptions but for the most part I believe in treating the entire torso. A full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles all the way down to the hip dips, waist, the entire back and under arm area all the way to the side of the breast. this leaves people with a natural thin fat distribution without transition zones between treated and entrteded areas. I’ve viewed the BBL as an enhancement to body contouring creating an ideal feminine S-curve that goes from the armpit to the knee. I did not emphasize a large buttocks with liposuction of the outer thigh creating a big round butt on the small leg which I sometimes called the “lollipop look”. Instead I emphasize long smooth harmonious curves creating a slightly hyper feminized balanced figure. To find the most talented and experienced provider in your community I suggest having multiple in person consultations. I do not recommend patients travel for elective surgical procedures and I recommend patients whenever possible avoid virtual consultations. During in person consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures of BBL results. Always confirm that after pictures were taken at least three months from the time of surgery. anybody who shows early postoperative pictures such as pictures with patients still showing surgical drawings on them, being in the operating room or any evidence of recently having had surgery should be immediately discounted as showing “.fake news”. Early fat transfer results can look very impressive but do not at all represent final results. Ask the provider to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. Specifically ask each provider to show as many pictures as possible‘s of patients who have similar body characteristics to your own. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you a minimum of 50+ sets of before and after pictures. Simply seeing a handful of pre-selected sample pictures which in reality most likely represent the best results of that providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like for that provider. Highly experienced providers will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures and should be willing to give you access during the consultation to see as many pictures as possible. If somebody claims to of done a lot of surgery but doesn’t have a lot of before and after pictures then you should ask yourself why? Do not commit to surgery or pay a down payment during the time of consultation until you’ve finished all your consultations and have given yourself plenty of time to think about your decision. The results from these procedures are permanent and irreversible. When in doubt slow down and schedule more consultations. Finally I recommend patients read all reviews on all various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling and having an abundance of positive reviews. Plastic surgeons with the biggest social media profiles are not necessarily any more talented than those who have no websites at all. Famous or likable does not equal talented.
