Answer: Buttocks buttock asymmetry buttock imbalance buttock surgery buttock revision gluteal augmentation BBL Brazilian butt lift aug Thank you for your question regarding severe gluteal asymmetry or uneven buttocks. If you did not have trauma and the asymmetry was there as long as you can remember, I believe your condition is genetic or acquired. If it is genetic, you were born this way. It could have also been your position inside your mom's abdomen during her pregnancy. Additionally, it could've been trauma or a virus leading to muscle atrophy on your left buttock. Those could be the possible solutions. It would not be easy to exercise just one side. However, it is possible. Surgical solutions could make the smaller side or, the more significant side smaller. By this, I mean you can undergo a Brazilian butt lift with fat transfer to make your smaller buttock larger, or you could undergo a right buttock reduction either with liposuction or with a buttock lift. Therefore, I would suggest a surgical correction for your asymmetry. I hope this helps answer your question regarding buttock asymmetry. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Gluteal asymmetry, fat grafting and liposuction Correction of moderate asymmetry that you have, can be achieved with combination of liposuction and fat grafting. It may also require proper positioning of gluteal crease, which is very important element of symmetry. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, true expert in body contouring of this kind, is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear Adventurous587688, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Believing the body is symmetrical The human body is highly asymmetrical. This is not just true for you but for everyone. Nobody has a symmetrical body. All the internal organs are placed asymmetrically. People are left-handed or right handed. The two sides of the face form independently from each other and eventually fused together during embryology. The primary stores of a symmetry is skeletal structure. this is totally normal. Unless it’s extreme it should not be treated. Attempting to treat skeletal asymmetry with fat manipulation typically just creates two different asymmetries. The human mind is accustomed to seeing the human body and face as being asymmetrical. Seeing computer-generated perfectly symmetrical faces are seen as odd and generally less attractive.
