I had Second lift with implant replacement about a year ago and had partial necrosis of left nipple and areola. Now I have asymmetry of fat that makes my breasts look lumpy in areas. The amount of redundant skin still seems to be excessive and I’d like to have it removed. I feel like a side show attraction not a woman with real breasts. I wanted to look more normal and now I feel like I don’t even have breasts because they are more like misshapen sacks of skin with firm implants underneath. :,(
Answer: Implants I am sorry about all the difficulties you have had. However, your implants are much too large and heavy for your frame and tissue. You cannot support such heavy weight. You do need to go down several sizes and may need mesh for support. If you have donor fat, this can be added to soften your tissue.

Answer: Skin To address the excess skin and laxity; there are several options. 1) perform a breast lift only 2) downsize to a smaller implant and perform a breast lift 3) remove the implants and perform a breast lift I would also recommend finding a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I would particularly recommend finding one with excellent experience in breast surgery.

Answer: I need a breast revision, what can be done? I need a breast revision, what can be done? Thank you for writing. It would help to have more information regarding your measurements such as how tall are you how much do you weigh what size bra do you wear what is your chest measurement? For do you prefer breasts that are rounder on your chest like a grapefruit or more projecting with less breast on the side of your chest. The profile of the implant in your case high and extra high are a tradeoff for the diameter of the breast given the same volume. Secondary breast surgery can be complex and needs to be done by an experienced plastic surgeon. At the Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery, Dr. Horowitz has a special interest and extensive experience each over the past 25 years in secondary, or “redo” cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. They are often referred patients treated by other plastic surgeons to correct and improve upon patients with preexisting implants. Additional skin removal will be needed . maybe a smaller implant for softness. Fat transfer will help smooth out areas of the breast.. It may be best to do complex breast revision in stages to get the best result Please schedule an appoint with us for an examination and personal evaluation Dr. Horowitz advises the best course of action based on each patient’s individual circumstances.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method As others have stated, your implants are too large. At this time, I would recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision Mastopexy I am aware how traumatizing tissue necrosis can be for a patient and I wish that none of my patients ever had to experience it, but it infrequently happens. Moving forward for you, it appears that, based on photos that are never fully helpful, you have suboptimal nipple areolar complex (NAC) positioning on the breast mound and residual redundancy of breast tissue, probably both sides. A full examination would be required to determine the best course of action, which could include not only soft tissue management, but also implant revision. Go get some in person consultations.
