400 mod+ unders looking small, should I change profile to hp or keep mod+ and go with 500? (Photos)

There are many negatives to going as large as your "wish pics." Discuss this thoroughly with your surgeon, before you proceed to this size. If you truly choose to go this large, your surgeon is the best resource to present your options.

Thanks for your question! I hear what you are saying, but the wish pic you provided is not "natural". A look like that would likely require a few surgeries. I think you can get a very nice result with a larger moderate profile implant. It will achieve all of your goals, but I would share other wish pics with your surgeon to ensure you can achieve what you desire. Good luck!

In your frontal view, you can see that your breasts are wider than your chest wall and are hanging out to the side. This will be made worse by larger implants. You would be better off with smaller implants higher with lateral and inferior plications. This may delay the lift for a few years that you are trying to avoid.

Increasing 100cc should give you enough of a change for you to see a difference. It will not lift the breasts nor make them less wide, only larger. If you trust your surgeon I encourage you to follow his advice since he has had the opportunity to examine you and discuss your surgical goals in detail.

I would suggest not going up to 500 cc's, but maybe only 450 cc's. The extra weight will stretch your tissue and thin it more over time. The lady in the bathing suit is way too large with round balls and is not natural at all.

Cleavage is a function of chest wall anatomy and of course pocket and implant size. If your ribs are curved, then the implants will always go out laterally (when unsupported) widening cleavage. Your wish pic is quite large so I would possibly go up to a 500cc implant either mid rest plus X or a new Mentor implant addition with a but more projection. You can wait for a lift but your breasts will be lower.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note only minimal sag. Your breasts demonstrate minimal asymmetry of size and the right breast appears somewhat constricted at its base. The distance from the top of the breast bone to the nipples is only slightly increased. There is no significant amount of sag. The postoperative result appears otherwise excellent. You wish to "close the gap". The diameter of the breast implant determines the width of the augmented breast. If the implant is too narrow, there will be a gap between the breasts and if too wide, there will be exaggerated cleavage and "side boob". The implant diameter should approximate breast diameter. This is the "footprint" of the implant on the chest wall, termed the base width diameter (BWD). You can find this information on the product sheets of the various implant manufacturers (Allergan, Mentor, etc.) on the internet. Make sure that your implant volume at the new base width is still 100 cc larger. Each implant manufacturer has different size increments.The determination of implant volume (or size) is a personal decision. Best wishes with your upcoming procedure!
