A lot can be done with filler such as juvederm or fat grafting.  Philthrum reductions can be a rather drastic step. I would support augmenting your anatomy.

Aemilia,The key is how it is done.  When I do a lip lift we fix the bottom of the nose so that it won't change (unless the person wants it changed).  The key is all in the technique.  Best of luck!

Thank you for your question and picture.  A modified lip lift/subnasal lip lift will not affect your nose or the proportions of your nose.  it will improve the contour and volume of your upper lip, while shortening the philtrum.  In order to determine what that would do to your overall appearance - the "looking at the forest and not the trees" take - you really would need a physical exam by a physician as then you can see how the face animates, where the light points are, etc.  Best of luck!
