My experience with Dr Amy Hsu was a great experience. We did a rhinoplasty revision and lip lift. She took the time to understand what I wanted and even asked for prior pictures to see what my nose looked like before. She gave honest, thoughtful advice of what to expect. She took her time with the surgery and does very beautiful work. Surgery and recovery was very smooth. She gave a lot of detailed recommendations for post op recovery that worked very well. I did not have any bruising at all. She was very easy to talk to and very patient with any concerns I had.

Dr. Amy has been doing my Botox for several years now and over time, I’ve asked for various things. My initial request started with general Botox, which then morphed into using filler to lift my brows, then ultimately a brow lift. She is the only person I will let touch my face.

Words cannot describe how happy I am with my lip lift results (surgery date: May 2025). My only regret is not getting it done sooner! Dr. Hsu is truly a talented surgeon who takes the utmost pride in her work. She is extremely meticulous and makes sure to go above and beyond to ensure the best possible surgical outcome. She has been there for me from the beginning to answer all of my questions and last minute concerns and I have felt truly cared for as a patient. My lip lift was so carefully and precisely done that my scar is so minimal — just a thin seamless line that continues to improve every day (my biggest concern going into surgery was the scarring). I have also started going to her for my injectables and have been so pleased with my results. If there is a doctor you are looking for to trust with your face, Dr. Hsu is the one for you!

Dr. Amy Hsu is a rare gem in the world of aesthetic surgery. I first met her 7 years ago for Botox, and even then, she wouldn’t consider surgery for me — she genuinely didn’t think I needed it. That humility and honesty stayed with me. Years later, I came back to her for a revision lip lift, which she absolutely aced. Most recently, I had an endoscopic brow lift with CO2 laser, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. What truly sets Dr. Hsu apart is her dedication to perfection and the time she invests in understanding exactly what her patients want. She’s never rushed. The day before surgery, she carefully mapped and marked my face, checking in multiple times to ensure we were perfectly aligned on the vision. She repeated the process right before surgery, making sure every detail felt right. That kind of precision and presence is rare in this industry. My recovery was smooth — minimal bruising, barely-there scarring, and natural results that have exceeded every expectation. No one knows I had surgery — not even my daughter or closest friend. All I hear is, “You look so rested and happy!” People assume I changed my skincare routine or got better sleep. That’s how naturally excellent Dr. Hsu’s work is. The pictures I’ve shared are just 3 weeks post-surgery — and I’m still healing! I recommend doing the CO2 laser at the same time if you’re considering it, because I found the combined recovery to be very tolerable and absolutely worth it. I’ve consulted with many top surgeons over the years and done my research. I trust no one else with my face. Dr. Hsu is not just a surgeon — she’s an artist, a listener, a professional, and an absolute master of her craft. Updated on 2 Jun 2025: There’s nothing like a true apples-to-apples comparison when it comes to before and after photos. I went through my selfie stash and recreated the original shot as closely as possible. You can see the comparison below. Just a quick note: in the before photo, I’m wearing mascara and bottom eyeliner, but no other makeup. In the after photo, I’m not wearing any makeup at all. The eyeliner on the upper lid is a tattoo and is present in both photos. The only remaining discoloration I have is on my lids—it comes and goes, which is totally expected at this stage.

Best possible experience with Amy!! She is so kind and I felt so comfortable and not anxious at all throughout the whole process! The surgery went super well and the recovery was super easy, and the post-op appointments are great. I super recommend her as I felt like I was in the best hands possible and I’m so happy about the result.

I am so happy that I chose Dr. Hsu for my lip lift. I flew all the way from Florida to California to see the doctor and I feel like I made the right choice. She is so patient, kind, and caring. I felt she genuinely listened to my concerns. The surgery: I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure. The closest thing I felt to pain was getting the initial numbing injection. About an hour after the surgery, I felt slight pain— sort of like a dull ache. I didn’t find it necessary to take any pain medication and it eventually subsided by itself. I am currently 2 days post op. I will continue to update this post as time goes on! Updated on 24 May 2025: I am 1 week and 1 day post op today. I cannot believe how great the scar is healing already. This is clearly a testament to how well Dr. Hsu’s work is. No one has been able to notice that I had anything done. Money well spent. I am so happy. I will continue to update! Updated on 28 Jun 2025: I am still super happy with my choice to get a lip lift. Since my last update, I have had better and worse days in terms of my scar appearance. Sometimes it is completely invisible, other times it’s a bit more red/purple. Nevertheless, I still haven’t found it necessary to cover the scar with makeup. It’s subtle enough that it doesn’t bother me. I still haven’t tried smiling with teeth or opening my mouth too wide. I can still feel some tightness when I laugh too hard. Will update more as time goes on! Updated on 18 Aug 2025: Here’s an updated photo of my progress! I’ve included a before so you can see how much of a difference this subtle change has made. I continue to highly recommend Dr. Hsu. She has checked in with me and been extremely helpful throughout.

Over the moon with my results! Very natural yet drastic difference it made to my masculine mug. Dr. Hsu went above and beyond to take care of me every step of the way and ensured I got exactly what I wanted. Never experienced after care with surgery like I did with her, she really makes sure you are happy with your results and that the scaring is hardly visible. Quick and easy recovery, nobody even noticed I had work done after a month out (you can resume work/activities sooner but I wanted to give myself a full month to heal better). Best decision I've ever made cosmetically.

Dr Amy is a rare doctor in Beverly Hills that is willing to take time and really listen to you. I went to two different doctors for their opinions about a bump on my nose - both rushed me and said we should just cut it off. Dr Amy took an hour and a half to talk through my options with me, and she was so patient and thoughtful and answered my millions of questions. The actual treatment was painless and easy and she’s taken a lot of interest and care in my healing. I’m so grateful I found her! I feel so safe in her hands!

I always have an amazing experience! Dr Amy takes her time and always makes sure you are happy with the results. I have been seeing her for years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She does my Botox and lip filler, and I'm always happy with the outcome.
