I combine a lip lift with a rhinoplasty even though I do place the incision inside the nostrils so that they are not visible because the preoperative planning can be done for both procedures when there is no swelling. After a rhinoplasty a couple of month would be enough therefore a delay of 6 months is perfectly appropriate for a lip lift.

While some surgeons will even combine lip lifts with rhinoplasty, based on the way I make my lip lift incision whereby I go up into the nostrils in the majority of cases to better conceal the incision, I do not combine these two procedures, but will wait a minimum of typically 6 weeks after the nose to perform the lip lift.
