Why am I still bulging out of clothes 5 weeks post lipo? (photo)

Question

It's been 5 weeks this week no changes still fat bulges in bra area arm and front bra area why why is nothing happening what can I do I spent 8k im so depressed can I get a refund?

You are still early in the healing stage and swelling can be present for at least 6 months just be patient and continue to wear your compression garment to help with the swelling. Consult with your PS to discuss your concerns.

You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. It is difficult to know exactly what results are normal, as you did not mention what in areas you received your liposuction, but it is possible that you are still swollen. See your surgeon so that he/she can discuss with you normal outcomes. We suggest wearing your compression garment as much as possible for the first 6 weeks to assist in swelling reduction and improved skin quality. Again, it is best to follow up with your BS Plastic Surgeon to determine what is reasonable for you.Best of Luck!

HiThanks for your question.It's hard to answer your question without having seen your preop photos, knowing where exactly was liposuctioned, and an in-person exam. However I anticipate you still would be swollen at 5 weeks post-op. You should be using adjuncts such as compression and massage to help with the swelling. Sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your results, MissMorocco.
But take note that it’s only been 5 weeks since your liposuction, so the results are not yet that visible at this point. You’re still experiencing swelling in your operative areas, and they will only start to subside around three months after your liposuction.
As such, it’s best to wait it out for another couple of months before you judge your results. If by then you’re still unhappy with your results, please go back to your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon to explore your options. You may also ask for second opinion from other plastic surgeons.
