I'm one month post-op, and the skin actually looks slightly worse now than it did after surgery. Is this part of the normal process? I have recently started back to working out, and perhaps this is the reason for the change?

Answer: Liposuction I rarely suction an abdomen, and never suction an abdomen in a woman who has been pregnant, because the skin is thin and may not "tighten up". I would not be overly concerned , as it will take a minimum of 3 months to get your results, and I suspect then everything will be better. Good luck, Greg Sexton, M.D.
