hi i had liposuction about 3 weeks ago and i still have hard lumps from were they removed my fat is it normal to have hard lumps? also i ask my PS if lymphatic massage was nessesary after lipo he said no but orther friend that has had this procedure highly recommend the massages due to they say help break those hard lumps if i don’t get the massages will the hard lumps go away?

If not severe, it will usually resolve with time. Gentle massage may be of benefit. If severe, we recommend the use of lipo-x or other non-surgical modality to hasten resolution of the process. There is no great data either way for lymphatic massage, but some surgeons will recommend patients perform gently 5-10 minute manual massage themselves at the post op 3 week mark if lumps are still present to help them dissipate faster.
