This is a relevant question, as I frequently see this area neglected in treatment. For both men and women, volume reduction in the mons area can improve both function and aesthetics. For women, treating this area will help to avoid the appearance of increased volume in the mons area, which can be disconcerting with or without clothing. For men, reduction of a sometimes generous mons fat pad can uncover more of the shaft of the penis, giving a visual and sometimes functional lengthening effect and help to prevent "turtling".Depending on the pre-existing laxity of the skin, liposuction of any kind (laser, PAL, BodyTite, etc) will decrease the volume of the mons area and tighten the skin. Obviously the degree of tightening will not be as great as you would see with a tummy tuck or other skin reduction procedure.
