Bubble after lip filler, what could it be and how can I treat it?

I appreciate your concern. Bumps are common after lip injections, as this area can be particularly prone to swelling. As you had more than one treatment in a relatively short period of time, it is understandable that you would experience these side effects. Rest assured the swelling should go down without intervention with a few days. In the meantime, you can use some ice on the area to manage swelling and discomfort. Always make sure you are working with a doctor who is both board certified and very experienced in using fillers to perform lip augmentation. While it might seem like a common treatment, precision is imperative to ensure a smooth and natural result. 

Looks like there are a lot of dynamic clinical treatments. For sure there are some missing segments in terms of your lip augmentation information provided. When you feel concerned, you should seek out another board certified plastic surgeon. The web is not the way to get your concerns addressed. Seek out a face to face meeting. Thank you for your message! Any time filler is injected there is a risk of lumps and bumps. We often do a gentle massage to make sure there are no lumps or bumps when you leave. We usually recommend about 2 weeks to let the filler integrate into the tissue and the swelling subside. At that point, you can assess for any lumps or bumps. If there is a visible lump it can be dissolved. If the pictures were taken soon after injection you can try gentle massage to the area to see if helps the lumps subside a bit. I would recommend following up with your injector so they can see the area in person!

Your downtime is going to be a bit longer due to the multiple procedures you had in a short time.  Lumps and swelling after filler injection can be normal, especially during the first two weeks after injections were done.  Juvederm fillers can take up to two weeks to settle completely.  We strongly advise patients to apply cool compresses to relieve the swelling and to avoid massaging the area where fillers have been injected.  However, if the bump is red, painful, or there is pus, you should return to your injector immediately.  Please seek a Board-Certified Dermatologist for a follow up appointment and evaluate if the lumps do not subside in two weeks.

Lumps. bumps, and asymmetric swelling are very common after lip injections. It is best to wait approximately two weeks for the filler to have integrated and the swelling to have dissipated so the lips can be properly addressed. This is when if any corrections need to be made, they can be properly addressed. 
With any cosmetic service, especially injectables, it is very important to do your due diligence on your provider to ensure that they are properly trained, qualified, and credentialed before your treatment.  

Swelling can cause some unevenness, so it is best to wait the two weeks to ensure that all the swelling that could be affecting your lips has gone down.  That being said, if after two weeks your lips remain uneven, your provider should be able to dissolve your filler or give you touch ups to even out the overall result.  Additionally, I would make sure to do your research before selecting your provider by looking at before/after photos, reading reviews and making sure they are properly credentialed and experienced.  

Swelling is common after lip injection, and can persist for 3-5 days, sometimes longer, and be uneven. If the bump/swelling worsens, changes in color, or becomes increasingly more painful I would contact your injector immediately. If the bump persists past 2 weeks I would recommend seeing your provider to have them assess the area.

As you have had two treatments fairly close together I recommend allowing some time for swelling to resolve.  If after 2 weeks from the last treatment you are still having concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.  Gentle massage of the area may be helpful in the meantime.

It seems like you have had a hyaluronic acid dissolver, and then a re-treatment in about a week.  It would wait a few days,  and then return to the injecting nurse.   I would wait longer to get juvederm after getting a dissolver
