I have had Juvederm twice now, first time I bruised slightly almost none. This second time I didn’t bruise at all, however at one of the injection sites I have a large red blood vessel / telangiectasia. Looks like it busted somehow.. is this normal? Will it fade on its own? Or Can laser treat the telangiectasia? I had Juvederm ultra plus about a week ago and have had this red mark on my lip immediately after the procedure. I'm sure it’s just a bruise but it hasn’t changed size color since the day I received treatment. Any ideas?

Most lip augmentation with fillers will have some kind of lumps and bumps , try to massage the lips usually the lumps and bums will resolevwith time ,however few patients have the tolerance to wait approximately 2 weeks so they dissolve and reinject

Yes it is common to have some bumps after lip fillers
the best thing is soft massage and it will disolve over 2 weeks
the best lip filler results is when the injection is done deeper not superficial

I appreciate your concern. Dermal fillers contain a very small amount of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine that would not negatively affect your baby while you are breast-feeding. Of course, it is important to discuss the potential risks and benefits of each procedure with your doctor!
