Is Bodytite or Renuvion best for skin tightening as a result of moderate skin laxity on my upper thighs (female/mid-50's)?

I am considering either Bodytite or Renuvion treatment for moderate skin laxity on my upper inner thigh area (female/mid-50's). This is a result of weight loss about 20 years ago - I am in good physical condition, exercise regularly and have been at a stable weight since that period. Dr's in my area in some cases have both Bodytite and Renuvion treatments available and I am interested in which might be more effective in this particular instance. Thank you.

If you need to have some fat removal with liposuction as well as skin tightening, Renuvion is your best choice hands down. If you do not need any lipo and just want skin tightening, Renuvion is overkill, Bodytite would be a great choice.

Without photos, Skype, or an in-office consultation, I am unable to render a judgment regarding laxity in your upper inner thighs.  You probably need some sort of skin removal to be happy, but this really just depends upon your expectations.  BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues.  It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically.  Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results.

Bodytite is so easy to undergo and is so much safer than renuvion that there is no doubt which one you should be using.  Almost any area of the body can be tightened up nicely and in a controlled manner.

You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Nonsurgical options give only mild improvement as compared to surgical lifting. If there is a lot of skin laxity, a Thigh Lift procedure performed at the same time as a VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction procedure (with ThermiRF, Renuvion, and InMode BodyTite) would give the most improvement. Other options for skin tightening would be a combination approach with Vanquish, truSculpt iD, Venus Legacy, Exilis, and Cellutone / ZWave. In  my opinion, the new Profound micro needle RF is the best treatment for thigh laxity.  It has the longest pulse duration and is non-surgical. Given your choices, Bodytite would be my suggestion.

BodyTite can help with a skin contraction of up to 40%.  This procedure is done in the office with minimal downtime. You will need to be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon to determine if this is a good option to help you achieve your goals.  If the degree of laxity is too severe, a thigh lift may be advised.

In cases where there is a lot of redundant tissue present, surgery is a better option.
