In 2017 I had liposuction (tumescent technique) to my hips, but I couldn’t see any significant difference in my silhouette. In 2019 my surgeon said the reason why I still can’t see the desired results is the laxity of the skin covering the area. He suggested liposuction again, this time with the BodyTite technique, though. As a considerable amount of fat was removed in 2017, BodyTite would be basically aimed at tightening the skin. Is it reasonable to undergo BodyTite for skin tightening only?

In general, it produces about a 30-40% improvement in skin tightening. Currently, the Body Tite machine is the best option for non-surgical skin tightening. Commonly the procedure is done at the same time as liposuction to tighten the tissues but can be done post liposuction. Its hard to tell how much skin laxity you have from your photo but it sounds like Body Tite is a reasonable procedure from your description.
