In 2017 I had liposuction (tumescent technique) to my hips, but I couldn’t see any significant difference in my silhouette. In 2019 my surgeon said the reason why I still can’t see the desired results is the laxity of the skin covering the area. He suggested liposuction again, this time with the BodyTite technique, though. As a considerable amount of fat was removed in 2017, BodyTite would be basically aimed at tightening the skin. Is it reasonable to undergo BodyTite for skin tightening only?

What I can tell you, is that if your issue is loose skin, then BodyTite will certainly help. I can't tell you if it will help enough to get the results you desire, without an in-person exam. Right now, the two best devices for skin tightening are Renuvion (J-plasma) and BodyTite. Seeing how you already have had a previous liposuction procedure and you just need skin tightening, I agree that Bodytite is the correct route. I always recommend that you schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Bruising and swelling can occur post-op. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. Sedentary activities can be resumed in two to three days and full activity with exercise within two to three weeks.

Its hard to tell how much skin laxity you have from your photo but it sounds like Body Tite is a reasonable procedure from your description.
