Based on your experience, is better to have microneedling with prp than microneedling WITHOUT prp?

I have found throughout my experience that the microneedling gives better results when combined with PRP. PRP helps to speed up the healing time of the trauma caused by the micropen. Typically patients have 2-3 days of red skin when you use PRP, but the red skin can last 5-7 days without the PRP. Also, PRP increases the amount of collagen that is going to be produced in the skin, enhancing the quality, tone, elasticity, and texture of your skin. This means you will have better results, and a youthful glow to your skin that you cannot get without PRP. I recommend three treatments spread a month apart to get an optimal result! Good luck.

Microneedling as a stand alone procedure is a great choice for those wanting to help acne scarring, stretch marks and improve skin texture on the face, neck and chest. Adding Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) will provide a concentrated boost of collagen-stimulating growth factors to your procedure, which will drastically influence the health of your skin, creating a more youthful appearance. Thank you for you question.  I know that microneedling with PRP can be expensive.  However, I think you will find that the results are worth the cost.  My patients find that microneedling with PRP leaves their skin luminous, with a reduction in fine lines, reduced hyperpigmentation, improved texture and smaller pores.  I recommend 3-4 treatments about 4-6 weeks apart for the best results.   

I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to enhance final results. This is tough to answer without pictures, but it can take a series of treatments to get improvement and results are long lasting with this combination, but may need treatments to maintain. Hi, thank you for a great question. I am a big believer in combination therapies. Combined therapies are always better than stand alone therapies. Microneedling is a great treatment that creates micro traumas to the skin which induce collagen formation in the healing process. PRP delivers more than 30 bioactive growth factor proteins into the skin and this leads to a very intense collagen production. The two treatments go hand in hand very well. Great for scarring, for addressing fine lines, crepey skin, loss of skin elasticity, and a reduction in pigmentation and dark circles. It is best that the PRP is injected into the skin rather than massaged on top of the skin. It can take 6-8 weeks to see the full results, and a number of treatments are usually required. I like to combine hyaluronic acid with the PRP also, delivered at 1.2 - 1.6 mm below the skin surface. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you for your message! We offer both microneedling with and without PRP, mostly from a cost perspective for people. When we microneedle the skin alone, we typically work hyaluronic acid into it. PRP will boost the results and decrease the healing time so we generally recommend going with the PRP! PRP and help boost collagen production helping to decrease deep hollows, soften fine lines, and improve the overall texture of the skin. I would recommend a consultation with a provider in your area for further assessment!
