I had Miradry done a week ago. I have the lumps that seem to be common side effects of the procedure. I've been massaging them and have definitely noticed that it's helping break up the thick tissue. It would make sense to me that since the skin has now healed, applying a heat compress or soaking in warm water would help the body break down that tissue. Is that correct?

Hi there. This is a cyst and it should be drained so it gets better sooner. You should see your treating physician as soon as you can. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Yes, MiraDry is FDA cleared for the reduction of sweat and smell in the underarm area. The technology targets the sweat glands and is safe and effective in this part of the body.I would not use this technology in the groin as it is not proven to be safe and effective in the region. Warmest ...
Increased pigmentation can be seen with MiraDry and shaving of the underarm area also leads to hyperpigmentation too. Using a skin lightening cream can really help. Ask your treating physician for a prescription.Warmest regards, Dr. ALDO
