Can applying a heat compress a week after Miradry help the lumps heal?

The lumpiness and soreness is typical after having miraDry, and will resolve on its own over time. You can absolutely use ice, heat, masssage, and compresses to help you feel comfortable during the healing process. Be well, thank you for your question. #compress  #warm  #miradry 

Lumps and indurated tissue are common, temporary side effects post MiraDry procedure.  We have observed that patients that consistently ice for 3 days post procedure experience less scar tissue.  Massage and anti-inflammatory medication like NSAIDS are necessary to help break down the tissue.  You can use topical and oral arnica as well as warm compresses.  The tissue will heal and resolve over time.  Good Luck!

The induration that you are seeing after miraDry is related to lymphatic swelling and taking bioflavonoids (citrus), NSAIDS, and using topical heat will help resolve it sooner than 4-6 weeks.Dr H Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member

Hot/Warm compresses, along with firm massage with arnica or traumeel cream can help the nodules in the underarm after treatment.  Anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen can also help these bumps to resolve more quickly.  Even if you did nothing, know that the nodules will resolve on their own.
