Hello, I am currently 6 years post my initial rhinoplasty. First year or so, I did not notice any crookedness, but it seems as years have gone by, there is some odd collapse and shadowing in the left side of my nose that wasn't there before. Can anyone advise why that might happen? Can it be fixed with fillers or only revision?
Answer: Greetings from Istanbul! Hello! First of all thank you for your question. I have evaluated your case regarding the information you provided and photos. You need a secondary rhinoplasty with a possible rib cartilage reconstruction to correct your crooked nose deformity as much as possible.Fillers can not be very helpful for fixing all those problems.

Answer: Crooked nose Six years post op previous rhinoplasty A side profile photograph would also be helpful to make a determination about how best to proceed, however from the limited photographs, it appears that on your left side the upper lateral cartilage has collapsed inward and your septum may have collapsed as well. It's very important to know how much cartilage is left over on the inside of the nose for grafting purposes, since you will probably need a couple of cartilage grafts to restore symmetry to your nose. A copy of the operative report would also be helpful to find out what was accomplished in the first procedure. Revision rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, so choose your rhinoplasty specialist very wisely based on extensive experience
