Strong forehead muscles - Coronal or lateral brow lift? (photo)

Question

I have strong forehead muscles. The glabella is strong. Not sure if I should do coronal to address the whole forehead of if lateral would be good enough for now. I am in my early 30s but have wanted a brow lift for a long time!

From the photos, it seems that you are a good candidate for Botox.
Forehead muscles, especially in the glabella area (between the brows), can cause downward pull and wrinkles. Botox is the most effective non-invasive solution to relax these muscles, softening forehead wrinkles and preventing the brows from drooping. Botox is natural and doesn’t require surgery.
If there is more pronounced sagging in the forehead and a significant brow drop, forehead lift or lateral brow lift may be considered. However, if your forehead muscles are strong, these surgeries might provide temporary results, which is why Botox is usually preferred.
For mild sagging or subtle changes, a lateral brow lift might be enough. But if you need a broader correction, a coronal brow lift (forehead lift) could be more appropriate.
Ultimately, Botox is the most suitable and least invasive option for your forehead muscles. However, a physical examination is necessary to make the final decision.

Definitely NOT a coronal Browlift which will raise your hairline!You do not want to raise your hairline further as this will masculinize your face! Irregular Trichophytic Browlift with or without weakening the Glabellar muscles This is a procedure I invented 50 years ago and I’ve done more than 5000 on transgender as well as sis females. Hair grows thru the scar so there is no obvious scar. Look for a surgeon who does this procedure and can show you photos of numerous patients with the hair pulled straight back. This allows the entire brow to be adjusted and not just the outer part as with a temporal brow lift! The hairline can be lowered as well if the patient wishes.

Why jump to surgery, with its expense, risks of scarring, and prolonged post-operative healing times when Botox (or any of the other neuromodulators) is used quite commonly to treat precisely this kind of muscle movement-related, horizontal forehead "worry lines."  I have personally been treating this kind of problem with Botox since the early 1990s with very gratifying results. What's more repeated, periodic injections over time typically lead to more lasting results. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic injection expert before diving into surgery. Best of luck.

You would benefit from a brow lift.  This will decrease the vertical height of the forehead, lower the hairline and pull up the eyebrows.

From the limited photographs, it appears that your position of your eyebrows is acceptable, therefore a brow lift is unnecessary.  You do not want to look over corrected and over arched. Consider placement of Botox in your corrugator muscles.
