15 years experience of aesthetic and plastic surgery
I had a calf augmentation with Dr. Ali and I am very happy with the result. I feel more confident and great. I would totally recommend Dr. Ali for any prospective patients. The entire trip was very well organised with transportation and hospital visits. All the team members communicated very efficiently via WhatsApp and everything was clear. The hotel itself had really great food and the facilities were amazing (there’s a steam room, sauna, Turkish bath and more).
I had a facelift on 19th of juli. And I am now 3 weeks post surgery. The last few years I had alot of stressy situations and lost alot of wait. I always try to take care of my skin with prp facials or radiesse etc but after the last years these procedures weren't as effective anymore. And my face seemed much older on a short term. All these little procedures need to be repeated more often aswell so I preferred a more invasive treatment that gave a real result. I used chatgpt for more information about facelifts and docters and chatgpt directed me to dr. Ali Cetinkaya. There is alot of sceptisis to do surgery abroad but I can tell that the service I got from dr. Ali cetinkaya and his team I wouldn't have got in my home country. From the first moment till even now after surgery and at home they are always there for you when there are questions. I love in Belgium, if I would have got the facelift here I would have gone home the same day. Here they kept me two day's in the hospital and checked everything constantly. Once back in the hotel there was a nurse 24/7 and dr. Ali checked me almost every day! The hotel where you will stay is really nice and the people who work there are used to have patients that get surgery so they are adapted to it and very friendly and helpful. I was reallllly nervous before hand because of the sceptisis of medical treatments abroad. And then maybe also a bit perfectionist :) so I wasn't the easiest patient. But Dr. Ali tried to calm me down and also repeated that he will not do surgery if I don't want to. He even came to the hotel the night before to go over the surgery onge again. If doubting about a doctor or travelling abroad I wouldn't! The team and the doctor are really professional and helpful. This level of professionalism I think wouldn't have gotten in my home country. So you are really ik good hands. And then the most important... The results. I am now 3 weeks post up so still very early but the results are starting to show and I am really happy. I look like myself only younger and more refreshed and that's what I wanted. So really big thank you to the doctor and the team!
I am 74. Had facial and hand fat transfer, CO2 laser and stem cell hair transplant. I guess Im a veteran of cosmetic surgery and insist on the best. Its what we shpw the world after all. The last time I went to Harley Street London which (being Harley street) was four times the cost. The surgeon was very nice but the fat transfer was only ok and upper/lower blepharoplasties had to be revised. The upper revision wasunfortunately not good either :( Dr Ali however was excellent in every way. I had had a slight stroke and none of the stroke consultants in the UK noticed a very slight droopiness in the left side of my face. Ali not only noticed it right away, but corrected it. I had had cheek implants years ago and forgot about them but they were dragging my face downwards. Dr Ali spotted these too and corrected BEAUTIFULLY with fat harvested from my tummy. Yes it hurt a bit - it wasn't a GA - but no pain, no gain as they say When I see Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif on TV I think they are good but honestly theyre nothing compared to Dr Ali. Also he's much younger, funnier, and unassuming too. Gizem and all of the team are very well trained and hygienically the place is spotless. Many thanks guys - see you all in two or three years :)
I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Ali Çetinkaya and his team. From the initial consultation to post-op care, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Dr. Çetinkaya is not only a highly skilled and talented cosmetic surgeon, but he also truly listens and delivers natural, beautiful results that reflect your goals. I felt informed, supported, and confident every step of the way. Additionally, Dr. Çetinkaya’s has an outstanding team. They coordinated every detail flawlessly — from appointment scheduling and airport pickups to private transportation. The post-op care was equally impressive. I genuinely felt like I was in the best hands, both medically and personally. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Çetinkaya and his dedicated team to anyone seeking not just amazing surgical results, but a well-organized, luxury-level experience from start to finish.
Making a decision to go to Turkey for plastic surgery is a huge decision, but one that I am SO happy I made. I researched doctors for months; I am a very type A personality (extremely analytical) and basically had an excel spreadsheet listing out countless amounts of criteria. My hope is that this review can make your search a lot easier and more efficient. Don’t think twice about Turkey, or going to Dr Centinkaya and his extraordinary team.I am only 11 days out from a deep plane face and neck lift, an upper bleph, a temple lift, lip lift, CO2 laser, and a breast aug revision and I am sitting in the comfort of my own home, without one bruise, barely any swelling, (never had a drain etc), and I am ecstatic with my results. I am a 47 yo female and I went solo.Dr. Ali is an artist. His “refinements” for me have me feeling like a little supermodel. I look just like I did, but prettier and younger. He is known for his natural aesthetic and that was really important to me. I wanted the “Lindsay Lohan refresh”, not my Grandmothers facelift. I loved that he studied endoscopy under a very famous surgeon in Milano and that he was also up on the famous US surgeons approaches and techniques (the surgeons that cost 180k to see in the US).The flight over was simple-just take melatonin and sleep. His coordinators literally arrange every single other thing - from your VIP transfers (they were private, posh vans), to your hotel (which has a 24/7 infirmary so there is always a nurse on call), to all consults, to meds, to hyperbaric O2 treatments should you choose to do them (I did 3 and HIGHLY recommend them for speeding up healing), and were on call for me 24/7 whilst I was in Turkey. They were all so lovely. Some tips that helped me immensely and which I think added to my extraordinary healing process: -A carry on size roller bag to bring your belongings to the hospital (you stay 2 nights)-‘Heal Fast’ Supplements (take before, during and after)-Any super soft, nutritious foods you loveFrom Amazon:-Mini Ninja Blender and Ancient Nutrition Collagen Peptide Protein Powder-‘Your Face’ Pillow, Back Sleeper Pillow-VitaMedica Arnica Montana and Bromelain w/Querctin (take before, during and after)-Ponyflo Sunblocker Wide Brim Hat-Happyluxe Shawl Wrap for Women in black (you’ll blend right in)To note: Turkey is more strict than America about meds. In the US, it’s automatic you get Ativan (to help you sleep and calm your nerves) so I would HIGHLY suggest bringing your own. So that’s that. As I mentioned, I am 11 days out and could easily put on tinted sunscreen and walk about town. I guarantee in a week I’ll be 100% presentable.Ps. Re cost: he was far less than some of the surgeons I researched and his results are 5 star!
I recently underwent a procedure with Dr Ali Centikaya, from the very first consultation I felt I was in the best hands, Dr. Ali explained every detail with clarity and patiently answered my questions which give me a lot of confidence. Was truly set this experience apart was the emotional support I received throughout the process, been in a country ! had never visited before, far from my family and loves ones, was daunting but Dr Ali Centikaya and his team make feel like I wasn't alone, they treated me with such kindness and care that I felt like had a family there supporting me every step of the way.
My entire experience was great! He has a wonderful rapport, confident, honest, highly skilled and caring. His staff is wonderful too. I was cared for from the airport/hotel/hospital/clinic-and return. I couldn’t believe the care and attention as well as the great operation on me.
I was recommended by a close freind who has had multiple surgeries by Dr ali.. I loved her results and she told me how good he was and he's team. From the initial contact with Dr ali and he's team they were super helpful and professional . As soon as I arrived in Istanbul from the UK I was met by the lovely gizem and a driver in a vip car which was lovely.. the hotel which was included in the package was lovely and breakfast included. When I had the consultation with Dr ali he was very humble kind felt like he really listened to me and understood my end goal result .. he is a really sweet man who really cares about he's patients. The team who works with Dr ali are all lovely. Gizem selin and dallam were all fantastic and so caring and helpful.. post op I was very well looked after in the hospital and then at the hotel where I was checked on everyday by nurses (change dressing) etc. I felt at ease and comfortable the whole time I was there. I am so happy with the results of my surgery. I had a breast lift with implants with fat transfer. I am obsessed and happy with my new boobs. Dr ali is so talented and a genius. I'm a trans woman and I felt accepted and cared for by Dr ali and he's team. I am planning on coming back for 2 more surgeries with Dr ali and look forward to seeing him and he's team very soon I can't say thankyou enough.
After researching surgeons for over a year, I came across Dr Ali back in April 2024 and began discussing surgical options. I was impressed to see so many happy clients from Turkey and abroad with beautiful and natural-looking results. After talking for some months we determined I should undergo a deep plane facelift and necklift, lip lift, temporal brow lift, and upper blepharoplasty. I finally scheduled for January 2025. Upon arrival at the hotel, we had a consult and determined that all the surgeries planned we would move forward with, and was recommended to consider fat grafting along with the originally planned surgery, followed by CO2 laser and Morpheus8. I am so happy that I decided to take his advice and do the additional procedures. Dr. Ali and his nurses Selin and Damla were all very open and honest about what to expect and what my healing may look like, and made me feel very comfortable with my decision to move forward. This was my very first surgery of any kind and my first time being put under general anesthesia. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive prior to arrival but after meeting with everyone, the apprehensiveness disappeared. The team set up all details surrounding the surgery, including pick up from the bus terminal as I traveled around Turkey prior to surgery and drop off at the airport to depart Turkey following, hotel stay at the Antwell Suites, all transfers to/from the clinic and hospital. It was all seamless. So far I am happy with my results, and can't wait to see how they will look as my healing journey continues.
I did a great deal of research before choosing Dr. Ali as my surgeon. It was very important to me that I got natural looking results and from what I can see so far, things are going very well. I had a deep plane facelift, necklift, lip lift, and temporal brow lift as well as fat transfer. Today is exactly 3 weeks since my surgery and I'm healing quite nicely. The team was very helpful from the point of booking my surgery all the way through to dropping me off at the airport when my time in Istanbul was finished. I would also like to say I scar easily and had a lot of concerns about visible scarring and Dr Ali is an artist with the way he handled the incisions. They are well hidden and very tidy. I really don't think I could have had a better result anywhere. As an aside, I stayed at antwell hotel as part of the package and it was lovely."
Radiesse can stimulate collagen production, which sometimes leads to thicker, firmer skin along the jawline. If this collagen-rich tissue causes visible heaviness or bulkiness in the lower face, and simply pulling it back (as in a traditional lift) doesn’t create a natural contour, then more targeted approaches should be considered. ✔️ Surgical Excision (Cutting Out Tissue):If the skin is not only loose but also thick and redundant, surgical excision may be the best option. A lower facelift or direct neck/jawline excision could help remove excess tissue and define the contour. ✔️ Laser Treatments:Laser skin tightening (e.g., CO2, fractional lasers) may offer mild to moderate improvement but are less effective for dense or fibrotic tissue caused by collagen stimulation from fillers. They work better for early laxity, not for bulkier areas. ✔️ Lifting Alone May Not Be Enough:Pulling back thickened skin may not address the volume or weight. In such cases, simply stabilizing the tissue won’t resolve the fullness. Combining excision with a lift may be a more effective and natural-looking solution. Ultimately, your treatment should be tailored based on skin quality, tissue thickness, and facial anatomy. A thorough evaluation will help determine if excision, lifting, or a combination is right for your case.
It’s completely understandable that you're feeling concerned about your facial changes, especially as you’re preparing for blepharoplasty and chin liposuction. You mentioned excess upper eyelid skin, possible brow drooping, and a sensation that your midface is "melting." These are commonly interconnected — often caused by a gradual descent of the deep fat pads and soft tissues in the upper and midface. At 31, many people wonder whether it’s “too early” for a procedure like a midface lift. But the reality is:Age is not the only deciding factor.Genetics, facial structure, soft tissue thickness, expression habits, and even sun exposure can cause certain aging patterns to appear earlier. So, is a midface lift the right move?
At 23, noticing deep nasolabial folds can feel distressing — especially when they weren’t there just a few years ago. From what you described, it seems like your malar fat pad may have slightly descended, which can accentuate the fold area. Coupled with mild malocclusion and lip incompetence, the midface may lack support, further contributing to the folds. Here’s the key:Nasolabial folds are not exclusively age-related.They can become prominent at a young age depending on facial structure, bone support, dental alignment, skin elasticity, and even habitual facial expressions. Now, is a midface lift an option at 23?There isn’t a universal yes or no. Why? 23 is young for surgical intervention in most cases. But facial anatomy isn’t always about age — some individuals may benefit from earlier structural correction if there's noticeable volume descent or poor soft tissue support. A midface lift does reposition the cheek tissues upward, which may soften the nasolabial area, but it's not a treatment for the line itself. It's about restoring balance to the midface. That said, less invasive techniques (like deep structural fillers, thread lifts, or energy-based skin tightening) may be a more appropriate first step. Also:✔️ Your sensitivity to how your face looks in lighting is very valid. It often means the issue isn’t just physical, but also psychological and emotional — and that matters.✔️ Whether or not surgery is the path for you, a comprehensive in-person facial assessment with a skilled aesthetic surgeon could help guide you through the safest and most natural-looking options.
At 52, you're considering a facelift, upper blepharoplasty, and a lip lift — a very common combination in facial rejuvenation. These procedures are often performed together in a single session, depending on the surgeon’s expertise and approach. Having all procedures done by the same surgeon offers a clear advantage in terms of facial harmony and surgical planning. When one expert handles everything, it's easier to create a cohesive and balanced result — especially when working around key transition zones like the midface, lips, and eyes. On the other hand, working with different specialists for each area can also be effective, as long as the timing and planning are managed carefully. In such cases: If procedures are staged separately, you’ll likely need to wait at least 4–6 weeks (often 2–3 months) between surgeries to allow swelling to subside and tissues to heal adequately. Eye surgeries tend to involve more delicate tissue and swelling, so close coordination with your oculoplastic surgeon is essential. Lip lifts, though smaller in scale, still affect facial proportions and should ideally be planned with the overall facial structure in mind. Not as a recommendation, but as an observation — choosing a surgeon who can perform multiple procedures in harmony may make the process smoother, both in recovery and in final aesthetic balance. If your preferred facelift surgeon doesn’t offer lip lifts, you might ask if they work in coordination with a colleague who does, or consider a joint consultation to evaluate options.
Sagging around the lower face, downturned mouth corners, marionette lines, and fullness under the chin can occur earlier than expected — not just from aging but due to genetic factors or structural facial anatomy. In your case, since you've already tried non-surgical options like fillers, Dysport, and Ultherapy without much improvement, the issue may lie deeper, at the structural support level (like the SMAS), which non-invasive treatments often can’t reach. At 36, surgery is not too early — age is less relevant than facial condition and expectations. It's not about being a certain number, but about how your face is aging. Here are some common approaches for your concerns: Lower facelift or mini facelift: This targets jowls, marionette lines, and redefines the jawline by repositioning sagging tissues. It typically provides the most natural and long-lasting result when non-surgical methods fall short. Submental liposuction: If there’s excess fat under the chin, this can help refine the neck and jawline. Chin/jawline enhancement (with filler or implants): If the lower face is recessed, these can restore proportion and structure. Targeted filler in marionette lines: May help if there’s still adequate skin tone, but without addressing sagging, the result is usually subtle. You’ve already taken the right first steps by trying less invasive options. Now might be the time to explore more structural and foundational solutions — especially if you're looking for a more defined, youthful, and natural lower face appearance.
