Had filler done 4 months ago under eyes & for my lips. The eyes have never healed and they are SO DARK. I get asked constantly about whether someone hit me or if I’m sick (and they’re being serious!) This person doesn’t want to dissolve it yet (?) i want my money back :( Do I have any grounds to do so? I’m devastated, I cry every day. I also had my lips done 2 weeks ago by same person and there is no change. B4 & after is identical.
Answer: Sorry you are going through this It sounds very heart breaking what you are going through. It's strange that they don't want to dissolve the hyaluronic acid filler that went into your undereye area and lip. If it's a hyaluronic acid filler definetely can be dissolved...I would still ask to make an appointment as usually a mediation process happens where the physician and patient come to an agreement on these things. I would also ask why they do not want to dissolve the product. I would also ask for before and after photos. I hope this helps with your situation.

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Juvederm Volbella; Laser Like Fraxel/Co2/J Plasma; Microneedling/PRP; Peels I suggest scheduling a follow up appointment in person with the provider or a member of their staff to discuss your results in person. I would also request before and after photos so you can truly see the before and after results. A follow up should allow you to come to a mediation point between the physician and patient. I hope this helps as every practice is different. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Refund after Dermal Filler Injections? Hi Dlive. Sorry to hear about your situation. Regarding the refund, it's a tricky process. Most good practitioners will offer some form of refund if a patient is unhappy with the services. I think this is especially warranted in your situation as the practitioner does not want to dissolve the product. With that said, often when the services are provided, credit card companies don't always side with the patient because service satisfaction is not guaranteed. Best of luck negotiating and if your provider does not want to dissolve the product, your best bet is looking for another that can.

Answer: Refund on "botched" filler You should have a frank conversation with your injector to discuss your unmet expectations and dissatisfaction. You may need to move on and find a different injector if things don't get resolved. In my office, our goal is for every patient to be happy with their result but of course we can never provide a guarantee. As far as a refund, every office has a different policy and you should discuss with your injector.Regards,Dr. Ort

Answer: Refund for fillers This is really going to be up to you and the provider. I'm quite surprised you returned for more filler after already being unhappy. If you seek a refund, or adjustment in price, you will need to speak to the injector. Doing a chargeback or anything like that, will result in you losing if you have a consent and received the treatment. The only way to resolve it is with a conversation. Do not be surprised if your injector agrees to maybe just a partial refund though. If any. Your injector had to pay for the product put into you. And even though you aren't happy, that's not necessarily terms for a refund. This is where filler injections are dicey. You paid for a service and aren't happy. But you did receive the product and the service. This is why finding a good injector is key. It's not about the product being put in necessarily, but the art of the provider!
