Noel did a photo facial on my arms and chest a few weeks ago. I am thrilled with the results! Dr. Bowen, Noel, and the entire staff were caring, professional, and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office!!!
My experience was a complete pleasure from the first call to make my appointment. The professionalism and kindness shows from the call, walking in the front office to the services rendered. Meghan has changed my life in a positive way. Due to age along with hypothyroidism, my eyebrows became extremely sparse. Microblading eyebrows are fantastic. Love getting ready and not needing to paint them on each morning. It’s especially nice not having to worry about rubbing eyebrow pencil off. I look forward to my touch up after a year. Thanks Meghan.
Amazing. I am so glad I chose Dr.Bowen for eyelid surgery and brow lift. I was nervous concerning plastic surgery, but knew it was the only way to get rid of sagging skin, which had impacted my peripheral vision significantly. Not only is my vision restored but I now have a younger and more attractive facial appearance. Dr. Bowen is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend her. Gloria
I had an amazing experience at Dr Bowen’s office. The staff are very friendly and work with you on an individual basis. They help you choose the right treatment for your skin type. The aesthetic room is very comfortable and relaxing.
This was a removal and renewal of old implants. Lots of scar tissue removal that had not been counted on with the procedure that added several more hours to the surgery. This was done over and above and did not increase the price. Close follow-up afterwards by doctor and staff. I have had other surgeries with Dr. Bowen and have always been satisfied with the results.
I just booked my surgery date for October 9th for a breast reduction. I am 25, 5ft 4, 110 lbs and will be going down to a a/b from a D/DD. I have my pre op appointment September 24th. I am really nervous; I have never been under anesthesia before. I get really nauseous very easily so I'm worried I'm gonna be really sick. I'm also worried about scarring. Hoping it doesn't look too bad! Updated on 23 Oct 2013: I am 2 weeks post op today I love my new body! I went back to work after one week and I really am having no major issues. I'm a little more tired when I get home from work and I'm still tender and swollen in that general region but other than that I'm great. My surgeon was amazing!
It depends on what you are trying to address...if your concern is uneven complexion then going with the photofacial first. If it is maintaining good collagen and elastin to prevent facial aging I would suggest microneedling. In my office we do a procedure called Fractora that combines microneedling with radio frequency and we have found that it addressess uneven complexion at the same time. This may be something you want to see if a provider near you offers. Best wishes for beautiful skin!
Yes it is safe to have a facial one week after having fillers done. I would encourage you to inform your esthetician on any and all services you have received since your last facial. Best wishes
In my opinion you will need a combination of laser (IPL) to target the uneven pigmentation that already exists and bring it to the surface for exfoliation. At home skin care regimen needs to be followed to support your efforts with laser and peels. Some key ingredients include retinol and some kind of lightening agent as well as a vitamin C serum. SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN. Those brown spots will continue to come back as you are exposed to sun, even through your windows as you drive. It will be imperative for your to use Vitamin C and sunscreen to prevent any future damage. Best wises for even skin tone!
In my opinion radio frequency would be a better option for non-surgical tightening. I agree that it is up to the provider to ensure proper treatment at the right settings and frequency. A board certified plastic surgeon would be a good option as they specialize in facial rejuvenation. Keep in mind with radio frequency there will be multiple treatments required to achieve optimum results. Best wishes for beautiful (firm) skin!
There are many ways to help with skin care maintenance. I would suggest you visit a medical spa and have an esthetician complete a consultation with you. During this consultation they should discuss with you your medical history, current medications you are taking, lifestyle choices including what types of at home skin care products you use. In regards to uneven skin tone there are options that include IPL (intense pulse light) laser treatments you can do to address uneven tone, as well as certain chemical peels containing lightening agents. I always stress the importance of at home skin care regimen to support what you are doing with your esthetician. If complexion is your concerns that there are specific ingredients you should be one including retinol and a vitamin C. Best wishes for beautiful skin!
