I have had breast implants for 10+ years. I see these red spots on both breast and I am afraid it’s my skin stretching and will eventually create a hole. Should I be concerned ? I had my breast revised twice in 2015.
Answer: Spots If you have had implants for 10+ years, I would not be concerned that they are related to the implants. I suggest seeing a Dermatologist. I also recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Red spots on breasts The red marks on your breasts look to be angiomas. These are most likely unrelated to your breast augmentation, as angiomas are harmless skin lesions which are easily treated by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. You have nothing to worry about as far as your implants making a hole in your breast tissue. If you have further concerns, I recommend making an appointment with a reputable plastic surgeon to discuss treatment options. Best of luck.

Answer: Red spots on breasts Your red spots are unrelated to implants, are not indicative of skin stretching, and will not progress to become a “hole,” or skin defect. They appear to be small cutaneous hemangiomas, and can be easily eradicated by laser treatment.
