I had an excellent experience with Mr. Paul Banwell for my breast lift surgery. As a perfectionist myself, I really appreciated his meticulous attention to detail — it immediately put me at ease knowing I was in such capable hands. He was incredibly diligent in understanding and accommodating my rheumatoid arthritis, enlisting support from Dr Katia Sindali, so that I would spend less time in surgery - it was clear that he genuinely cares about every single patient. As a health and nutrition coach, it was very important to me that we approached this holistically — supporting my body through the procedure and ensuring that the results were natural and balanced. Although aesthetics were the driver for this surgery, the lift also supported better posture and alignment, helping my body look proportionate and harmonious. I’ve always focused on my fitness and nutrition, but the additional skin on my breasts meant that surgery was really the only option to achieve the final, polished result. His work feels more like a craft than a job; the passion, energy, and precision he brings are remarkable. I felt completely confident throughout the process and couldn’t be happier with the results - In fact, my breasts have never looked this good, even in my 20s (I'm now 47!). Despite having a very large pigmented areola, they were able to expertly reduce most of it, which has made a huge difference — I can now wear low-cut tops comfortably, something I couldn’t do before.
From start to finish Dr Banwell and his team were very professional. I am so happy with my breast implants and they feel part of my body. I researched the type of implants I wanted for years. The Ergonomic is what I went for during to its durability and ease of movement once placed into the breast area. Highly recommend Dr Banwell.
I had the best experience with Paul Banwell and couldn’t recommend him enough. After my first consultation with Paul I knew for sure that I would be going ahead with him as my surgeon. I had MIA breast augmentation done around 9 weeks ago and am incredibly happy with my results. Hospital staff were fantastic also. I wanted a more natural result which I have absolutely received. They are undetectable in my option, the scars are very small and are in my armpits. They look and feel like my natural breasts but better. I went from a B cup to a full D. I feel so much more confident about my body since the surgery and no longer need push up bras or to feel self conscious without a bra. Best decision I’ve ever made
I had breast implants for 20 years which had rippled and caused me to be self conscious. The procedure I asked for upon meeting Paul was removal and replacement of the implants. When I met Paul, he was warm and friendly. He explained clearly the procedure and managed my expectations of the outcome. The operation itself went smoothly and Paul saw me straight afterwards to reassure me. The staff providing aftercare were fabulous. Paul saw me again after my one night stay in hospital and said he was pleased with how the operation went. I was able to ring the hospital day or night after the procedure with any questions. The result of the procedure outweighed my expectations. My breasts are ripple free and I feel young again!! Paul worked his magic. I wouldn't consider going to any other surgeon for breast augmentation. With Paul you will get the best outcome.
Mummy makeover (BA 265cc and 245 cc Motiva under muscle, TT, a tiny bit of lypo and tummy muscle repair). I am 9 months post-surgery and a happy woman. Dr Banwell is an artist with the scalpel. He helped me improve my confidence, my self-belief and gave me back the body I had before children and more! I was nervous patient, asked one million questions, had lots of calls with him and his team before deciding. I am so happy I chose him. He is busy so have your questions ready. He dedicates his time and skill to the surgery and the results speak for themselves.
I had breast augmentation with Dr. Paul Banwell at the McIndoe Centre and I genuinely couldn’t be happier. From the first consultation, Dr. Banwell was kind, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. He explained everything clearly, and I felt completely safe and in good hands throughout. I had 320/340cc Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle, and I’m quite tall and didn’t have much breasts before ( a low B cup) — the results are beautifully in proportion to the rest of my body and exactly what I was hoping for. They look and feel very natural, and my confidence is so high now. I honestly wish I’d done it sooner. Pain-wise, I was surprised at how manageable it was. I only needed paracetamol for a few days, I didn’t need anything stronger but I would definitely recommend having someone with you to help out — especially with sitting up, moving around, and general support around the house. ( with that help recovery was easy and painless) I was really anxious before the procedure but Aimee, Paul And the nurses were just amazing! I’m so glad I chose Dr. Banwell. It’s been a really empowering experience and I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone considering surgery. So happy I didn’t go with anyone else!! I’m not 2 months post op
I had a Mia Femtech breast augmentation a few weeks ago and am extremely pleased with the result. I was looking for a very natural shape and, counterintuitively, Dr Banwell advised me to go one size larger than I had planned to create that look. The Mia Femtech experience lived up to the marketing hype as well. I arrived at hospital at 7am and was out by noon and went straight out to lunch. I only took over the counter pain medication on the first night and didn’t require it beyond that. I really appreciated the time Dr Banwell took to work out what the best size would be for my specific body and couldn’t be more pleased with the result.
Great outcome regarding a breast reduction and uplift. Good shape & size achieved. Scars are healing very well. Would definitely recommend. I had been thinking about this operation for a while and a friend recommended Mr Banwell - I was pleased I chose him to perform the operation.
I did a lot of research before deciding that Mr Banwell was the one I trusted to do my procedure. After a year or so of following his work online, I learned Mr Banwell was one of very few surgeons offering the MIA Femtech procedure. Everything about MIA sounded appealing, minimally invasive, local anaesthetic, less downtime and a very natural result. I felt at ease during the consultations and trusted that he understood what I was hoping to achieve. The team in the office were very helpful and approachable. They went above and beyond to help me organise a lucky last minute surgery date from abroad. My experience at the hospital was really positive, I felt relaxed and well cared for. It was all over very quickly and I was at home that afternoon, with only a little discomfort. I was honestly amazed at how quickly the recovery time was, yes some swelling for a few days and I took some paracetamol, but it was all fairly easy. The incisions are very small and under my arms, not having scars under my breasts is a huge plus. I have gone from a very empty B cup, to a full C cup and they feel very natural, exactly what I hoped for. My confidence has increased and I feel feminine again. I’m so glad I trusted my instinct in choosing Mr Banwell for this procedure, I’m delighted with the results.
Paul Banwell is just incredible. From my first consultation, I felt I was in excellent care, with a passionate, professional and caring surgeon. He listened to my wants and needs and now I am so unbelievably happy with the outcome of my breast augmentation. Him and his team are world class.
Thank you for your enquiryYou look fantastic and it is probably extremely sensible to exchange your implants. You do not comment on any symptoms but as I am sure you have been told, there is always a chance of silent rupture of implants this old.Regarding your choice of implant and size, this is very much down to yourself and your surgeon. Trust their experience. You are petite and a 13 cm breast implant is still quite wide so I am sure you will be fineGood luck!
Thank you for your questionsYou would potentially be suitable for a labiaplasty but is vital you see a plastic surgeon in person and discuss your anatomy and aims and objectives in detailGood luck in your journeyPaul Banwell (London)
Liposuction is a great technique but, as am I sure was explained, contour irregularities and lumpiness can occur. I presume you have been massaging and have tried some non-surgical modalities such as endermology?Ultimately you will need to be seen in person to assess your suitability for further procedures but you are obviously very slim and have an excellent figure.Good luck!
Thank you for your questionFat transfer techniques have improved dramatically over recent years due to improved processing techniques and the gold standard system is the PureGraft system. This is increasingly being used with smaller implants in so called hybrid techniques and is now very popular. Fat transfer alone is also popular but volumes will always be limitedIt would be best for you to see a plastic surgeon in person to discuss your objectives and wishes to chat this all throughGood luck!Paul Banwell (London)
Hello thereThank you for your kind questionAs you are aware, there is NO current recommendations from countries around the world to remove (textured) implants unless there are specific symptomatic problems (eg. rupture, capsular contracture or sudden seroma formation) or unless patient wishes to specifically change them (for size reasons or due to the 10 year time lapse). For my patients I would also recommend Motiva implants as their silk surface (now classified as a neosmooth surface) has the lowest risk of capsular contracture and no reported cases of ALCL. I have been using Motiva for 4 years or so and they have revolutionised my practice in terms of the softness and their technological advancements.Regarding the ALCL story, please remember the risk of breast cancer cancer is usually quoted at around 1:8 compared to the risk of ALCL at around 1:25,000 - ie it is very rare. Personally, in the absence of any symptoms or specific changes in the breast, ultrasound examination can be notoriously unreliable and thus results should be interpreted with caution.Good luck in your journey!Paul Banwell (London)
