I am 49 years old. I had 1 cc of boltero to my tear trough area yesterday. I can see slight results. I would say the troughs look better, I was so afraid of swelling after, but I have had no swelling at all. i Think I need more. How much is the average amount for optimal results?

Answer: How Much Filler for Dark Circles Under the Eyes? Hi Tinherbell. The amount of dermal filler product (we prefer Restylane) under the eyes depends on the person. We have injected as little as .5 CC (1/2 syringe) and as much as 4 CC's over two visits. If you have achieved some improvement but want more, you likely just need some more product. Best of luck.

Answer: Tear Trough Injections (Volbella, Restylane, Belotero) results--add lasers, microneedling/prp It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. It takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Belotero. However, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
