I had an upper blepharoplasty and endoscopic brow lift with Dr. Amato and I'm so happy with the results. My neighbor, who is also a surgeon, recommended Dr. Amato above anyone else. I trusted her judgement and I'm glad I did! I still look like myself but have more symmetry and no longer think I see someone or something out of the corner of my eye! Thank you, Dr. Amato for your professionalism and guidance through the process.
My experience with Dr. Amato has been awesome. She did a forehead lift, an upper bleph with ptosis correction, and a lower bleph (movement and reshaping of under eye fat pads only, no skin removal, and my eyes look great at 6 weeks out. I can't believe the difference, people say that I look great, but no one seems to realize that I had work done. She was also very patient with me when I had questions about the surgery and gave very detailed and clear follow up care instructions, which I think contributed significantly to the speed of my healing.
I recently saw Dr. Amato for some areas of concern around my eyes and on my forehead. After meeting her, she suggested Botox to help with those areas. I couldn't have been more pleased with my results! I would 100% recommend Dr. Amato for any type of injection or treatment! She is the best!
I'm 25 and went to Dr. Amato with complaints regarding my sunken under eyes. I was a little nervous prior to the consultation, but the office was inviting and she was so helpful from the moment I arrived! She answered all my questions and I could tell she knew her stuff. I decided to get the filler injections after speaking with her and the result was exactly what I wanted- they look really natural I love them! She is definitely highly skilled and I will be going back! Absolutely recommend!
I am totally satisfied with Dr. Malena Amato. She did a great job and she made me feel at ease. From my first consultation with her to my post-op visit, I had a great experience. Since this was my first experience, I was very nervous going in. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and family. I will do any future procedures with her. She has great bedside manners.
After a couple visits to my Optometrist, I was diagnosed with Ptosis when I went to visit Dr. Amatto at TOC. My eyelids were drooping over my eyeballs a bit too much that it was affecting my vision especially at night. Every light in my sight (street lights, car lights, break lights, etc....) were streaking down and blocking part of my vision. I scheduled the surgery, very nervous mind you, but I can honestly say that I didn't feel a thing during the surgery. It went by so smoothly and fast. I was VERY impressed! I was very happy with the staff and especially Dr. Amatto, very friendly and helped me from being so nervous. I stayed at home for the next 4 days icing and taking it easy. It has now been almost 4 months and I do see quite an improvement. My eyes do open a lot more than they did before, the long streaks from lights have improved immensely, and it's so nice to see my Hazel eyes again! Updated on 14 Jan 2017: I was tired of being asked if I was sleepy or high. I had the Ptosis surgery done due to my vision being impaired at night. I had the cheek implants because I was starting to have a sunken in look. Updated on 14 Jan 2017: Droopy eyelids were affecting my vision at night. Updated on 14 Jan 2017: This is a about the time that the Ptosis surgery was finally showing my eyelids to come up. And this was also the day before my cheek implants Updated on 14 Jan 2017: I know it looks a bit scary, but it really wasn't painful at all. The doctor put those stitches just make sure the bottom section of my eyes didn't droop down from where they made the incision. Updated on 14 Jan 2017: Swelling as disappeared and I'm a bit skeptical about the outcome Updated on 14 Jan 2017: I am happy with the results. My eyelids have made a huge improvement and my cheeks have been improved as well.
Hi, From photographs alone it appears she may be developing upper eyelid ptosis which can make the eyelids appear sleepy or heavy. For this problem, an evaluation by an oculoplastic surgeon would be most appropriate. Filler may be an option for sunken appearing eyes as well. Hope this helps.
Hi, Yes, it is quite reasonable to undergo eyelid surgery even after fillers. Your surgeon may dissolve the filler before the surgery to get an accurate view of your eyelid anatomy. Hope this helps!
Typically eyelid surgery and thread lifting should be performed before Botox either at the same time or separately. I would wait a month from surgery prior to Botox treatment. Hope this helps!
Dynamic wrinkles or those that occur when smiling may be better treated with Botox which will relax the muscle and possible filler. I recommend trying minimally invasive techniques before considering surgery. I recommend an evaluation by an oculoplastic specialist, hope this helps.
5 weeks after blepharoplasty, it is normal to still have swelling, which will continue to improve up to 6 to 12 months after Eyelid surgery. If you have a similar concerns six months after surgery I would consult with your surgeon again but you should continue to improve, hang in there!
