Hi and thank you for your question! It might take up to two weeks to swelling is fully resolved fully injection so it is still too early to do an evaluation for that. During the two-week period, you should stay watchful for signs of rare but possible complications such as infection but other than that, please allow two weeks to pass and if not happy with the results, do a follow up with your injector. I hope it helps and good luck!
Thank you for your question.Swelling and bruising is not uncommon with tear trough injections. Using cold paks, Arnica, and bromalain can all help reduce the swelling and get rid of the bruising quicker. Swelling can last up to 2 weeks. I encourage you to remain patient and not judge any results until after the 2 week mark. At which point I would follow up with your injector to see if any massage or touch up is necessary. Good Luck
Hello,Thank you for your question. I would give it more time and see if this swelling goes down. If there seems to be no change after a week or so I would call and make a follow up appointment. Thank you, Ahmed Sufyan
Hard to call without a history and full examination. It can possibly be filler. If you had no swelling for several days then sudden swelling, other causes such as cross antigen reactions, hypersensitivity (delayed) and others need to be excluded. Was the product on bone ? What was the technique- needle vs a canular etc....etc... the best answer will come from the Specialist that performed this procedure on you. If someone can inject, they will have all the expertise and know how to deal with potential outcomes and complications. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
Dear Wildflower123, Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to experiencing some bruising or swelling in the tear trough areas after filler treatment, especially since the skin is thin in the areas. Depending on the extent of bruising and swelling, they typically resolve within days to...
Hi and thank you for your question! Bruising is common after filler (especially in highly vascular areas such as under eyes). Use of cannula for injection can help reducing it, but obviously it doesn't completely eliminate the chance as was the case with you. There isn't much that can be don...
It takes 1-2 weeks for final results with tear trough fillers. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement for under the eyes. I recommend fillers with lasers, and mic...
Hi and thank you for your question! As long as it is a few days since the filler injection, there shouldn't be any concerns with regards to filler movement with chiropractic adjustment and pressure. The risk is even lower with Belotero since it tends to diffuse more uniformly in the skin. You s...
Hi and thank you for your question! Belotero is a great filler and excellent choice for treatment of fine lines in forehead, neck, etc given that is diffuses nicely under the skin and produce uniform results. This being said, Belotero is among the fillers that last relatively shorter and mos...
Hi and thank you for your question! First off and if I may, I wouldn't completely set aside Botox as it can still greatly help reducing the lines without affecting you natural expression. The key is to have it done at experienced hands and by a physician who is highly experienced in Botox tr...
