I had Botox 9 months ago (for the first time) and experienced the drooping eyelids. I am concerned because the Botox should be gone after 4 months. I am scared that this is this permanent? Is there anything that I can do? Thank you.

Answer: Droopy eyelids Dear ElaineYou are correct that Botox usually has little effect at 4 months after injection and it would certainly have no effect at 9 months. Drooping eyelid have many causes. We often get them as we age. The good news is that they can be treated safely with great results.I recommend you seek the advice of a well trained doctor in your area that has experience with both cosmetic eyelid surgery and treating droopy (eyelid ptosis) eyelids. If you have true ptosis, experience in managing ptotic eyelids would be paramount.
