Dr. Walker and his staff took time to sit down and explain different treatment options and what each one entailed. They were extremely professional and any time I have had a question or concern I have been able to reach them, day or night! If it had not been for Dr. Walker, I would have never been able to get the nerve up to have my surgery.
I am a 34 y/o mother of 2. I breastfed my children for 3 years combined, and after both pregnancies and breastfeeding, I was so ashamed of the appearance of my breasts. I know they were "normal" and looked the way they were supposed to after having kids, but I had lost a lot of confidence because I was extremely self-conscious of the way they looked. I went to a consultation with Dr. Walker, and he answered all of my questions (probably 25+, ha!) and made me feel so comfortable! I quickly became very confident in his ability to help me, and I scheduled my augmentation surgery. The recovery from the procedure was a breeze (for me), and he even called to check on me in the days after! I had a little post-op blues because my chest was very swollen and I was afraid they'd stay that way. He talked to me, calmed my fears, and told me to have patience and let the swelling go down. After 6 weeks, I was in love with the results! I am now a little over 4 months post-op and am SO happy with them! My confidence is back and I love the way my shirts and bras fit on me now! I feel so feminine and sexy with my new chest. I am so happy I had the courage to do this and not talk myself out of it. I look at my before photos now and I absolutely cannot believe that those breasts used to be mine. They look completely different now! It was worth it 100%!! Thank you so much, Dr. Walker!! Updated on 12 Aug 2016: Updated on 3 Jan 2017: Breasts have completely "dropped and fluffed" and are finally very soft and natural feeling. So happy with my results! Updated on 4 Jan 2017: My plastic surgeon nailed it!! Updated on 4 Jan 2017: 35 years old, 5'3", 140 lbs. Breast implants are 650cc Natrelle round high profile silicone placed sub-muscularly via the "dual-plane" method. Bra size before was 34C/36B, and now post-op they are a 34DD/36D. Please feel free to private message me with any questions!
OK so I decided to have my breasts done. I chose a Dr and immediately felt this was the right decision. Went in for preop and came out decided on 650cc Silicone unders. I am posting before and after. Today is day 1 post op. I am definitely sore with most of the pain accruing right after I woke up. I am feeling pretty good now with day 1 almost over. Updated on 10 Jul 2016: So day 2 is over. I am feeling better but still sore. The implant used was NATRELLE UHP 650cc . I am so excited to see what they will look like after they drop and fluff out. Right now they look scary lol they are super huge and high. My Dr is awesome as he checks on me regularly. I am really happy with my decision there. Still not able to do things by myself yet. Updated on 12 Jul 2016: Well the pain is sticking with me. My right boob incision hurts every time I move. I am starting to be able to reach things and dress alone but I am very careful because I do not want to mess something up. On another note my pharmacist wouldn't fill my prescription for my pain medicine till Friday :/ so I am going to be so hurting after tomorrow. I bought a sports bra yesterday and it was a 38 DDD at walmart lol. But I am really swollen and they haven't fell into place yet. I am excited to see what they will look like :) Updated on 20 Jul 2016: Just some before pics Updated on 20 Jul 2016: Incisions Updated on 20 Jul 2016: Pain is manageable. Left breast has dropped a bit but right is still riding high. Updated on 20 Jul 2016: So I am not on any meds now. Doing really good. I still can't lift up my arms real high or out to far. I am starting to lose sleep because I am having to sleep on my back which I hate. I have started the massages. It feels good to do them . Its like I worked out and am rubbing out the soreness. My next appointment is august 1st . Buy overall everything is good.
I'm so excited to finally be able to have this done and be over the pain . I'm a very active person and love being out doors and taking long runs and being 125 and 33 years old it has been harder to enjoy running and staying in shape do too being very small and very top heavy , the first thing I want to be able to do and enjoy is taking a 5 mile run and smile knowing not being too too heavy anymore will slow me down . Updated on 21 Sep 2015: I'm not even nervous or scared and I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing !!! To me it's GOOD , I have been top heavy sense 8th grade my back and neck has carried so much weight and stress on them it's now at the age of 33 taking over me and the pain just keeps getting worse . I will say this yes guys love big boobs and girls pay to have them as well but you gotta be able to do this for yourself and your health . If I wasn't having all the problems im having due to big boobs that are perfect , well I would keep them . But I'm not out to make others happy or to please a guy . I have 2 wonderful children who need me and need me healthy and pain free , and I would love to get back out doors and run with them again . The picture below I post is of this summer 2015 it's what guys love and want on a woman but to me when I see it I see pain and smile knowing if I hang on 15 more days Dr walker will have me pain free for the first times in years and having me running again with my kids . Updated on 5 Oct 2015: I leave out at 3am in the morning to head to have my BR and I couldn't be happier I have waited so long for this Updated on 11 Oct 2015: I'm beyond excited about this!! Sense we had our sit down discussing BR I was smiling ear to ear and as we set a date and he clock was ticking down I couldn't even sleep with out smiling and nervous at the same time !!! Now here it is 5 days after my BR and I'm like a new person and feeling young and healthy again . Doctor walker is the best hands down and cause of him and his staff I would go through this again if ever needed too !! He's takes me through this step by step and never once let me down and even calling to check on me in the afternoons made it more easy to relax . I'm not sore and I'm pain free !! Waiting now to heal and for he bruising to go away along with the swelling which is expected over time !! Relaxing and doing exactly what the doctors orders was is paying off and might I say SHOWING OFF ????. It's different being little and shopping for little boobs and a very big adjustment for me but will be well worth it in the long run . I'm looking forward until my 6 weeks is up and I can put on my running shoes and take long runs and run with my kids again !! Right now my boobies are full B cup to a small C cup so guessing they will be sitting a a B cup once swelling is down and fine with me lol . If your reading this and you have lived with many years of having big boobs and back and neck pain I recommend looking into doing this and not put it off any more . I'm 33 years old and sense 8 th grade had DDD and as I got older I felt the tear on my back from them . I put my foot down and made a big decision and was the best one I ever made and now my back and neck feel younger again and I stand like a woman is post to again . Down below I will post a picture was taken 10/11/15 SORRY BUT I WILL NEED TO BRAG ON MY SURGEON AAAALLLOOOTTTT!!!!!! Hands down he's the best recommend him to everyone woman wanting this done . He's my HERO now . I walked into his office scared out my mind and confused and in pain from over the years of wanting this done and when Dr. Walker sat down with me and looked at me going over all this and seen how my little frame had taken a beating from carrying size DDD for years and years he looked and spoke to me with his confidence and the words he spoke told and showed me he was helping me and not letting me down and I could trust him and he would back his words and skills !! And he did just that . They say read up and look into your sugeron before going through with it or anything . Well I did and did but for me sitting down in person one on one with Dr. Walker is what helped me and I had the connection and confidence I needed to set forth in accomplishing my dream of having a BR and being pain free again . So to my wonderful Surgeon who has allowed me to smile again and have a dang good reason too again THANK YOU Dr. BRYANT WALKER FOREVERTHING YOU HAVE DONE TO HELP ME !! So is it normal to be scared to wear a sports bra and feeling like you will mess up and the insesion under boobs will pop back open ???? Yes I have bought lots of wire free sports bras that are comfy but scared to use any of them cause some of them will rest against the part under my boobs and scares me lol I use my surgery sports bra at night too sleep in still !!! But during the day it's too hot to wear cause it's almost like at shirt lol and I'm in minopause with hot flashes already and can't take added on heat and sweat lol Updated on 11 Oct 2015: Updated on 11 Oct 2015: Updated on 11 Oct 2015: Love the little boobies just not all that bruising I got going on???? Ready for the swelling to fade away and me sleep good again . Updated on 15 Oct 2015: What a difference ????
My breast were pretty large for my small body frame. I've wanted this surgery for a few years now. Besides a tubligation I've never had a major surgery. I was extremely nervous but I think excitement took over. The surgery went great. It was an outpatient surgery so the ride home was a little uncomfortable but not bad. After a day or so I was moving around and after a week I was out. I'm not sure if this is everyone's results or I'm just a fast healer. If I had it to do over I would. Pretty simple surgery with remarkable results.
I have struggled with very uneven skin tone, sun spots and just flat out lack luster skin on my face. When Dr. Walker recommended Halo Laser I was skeptical. But within less of a week of the treatment my skin was glowing. Sun spots, Gone! In the past I had to put on layers of makeup to hide my spots even after applying makeup people would think I had been in the sun because it looked as though my skin was peeling. After Dr. Walker got his hands on me I was radiant! I nor others could believe how refreshed and even my skin was after treatment. I no longer needed to wear foundation or concealer, I simply put on the tinted spf he recommended for me and I was out the door with glowing even skin. The turn around time was minimal, less then a week. I can't thank Dr. Walker and his team at Allure enough. They are beyond hospitable and genuinely caring. They made me feel very comfortable and left me with amazing results. I have already been back in for my Botox and I can tell you I will be back. Allure has me as a lifetime client. Again, I thank your team again!
I was so pleased with my skin post halo treatment. My skin has always been freckled since the age of 4. After treatment, my skin was not only smooth and blemish free, but it also looked smoother and refreshed. Fine lines disappeared as well. People who did not know I had had the procedure asked me what I had been using on my skin because it looked so good. Dr walker did such a great job. The service I revieved at allure plastics was excellent. I have recommended dr walker and allure plastics to all my friends.
I have had to deal with large breast since I was 15. Even then I was a DD. When I got pregnant with my daughter at 21 I carried her up high in my chest so of course then I was in like a ordeal. I am so nervous about my surgery. I have been reading the stories on here and getting scared. My doctor told me that it would be good to try and lose 30lbs before surgery. So I have been hitting the gym everyday. I have lost 10 lbs so far. Updated on 25 Apr 2016: Well time is winding down I'm getting a little more nervous. Less than one month to go and I really trying to push myself to lose as much weight as I can. I have lose 17 lbs and feeling good. If I can loose 15 more I will be doing great. This surgery has been something I have wanted since i was in high school. The teasing and bullying has stuck with me for so long. I was never really comfortable with the way I looked. I always tried to loose the weight but with my breast it was so complicated. I have thought about this surgery fo a long time and now I think I'm truly ready. Updated on 2 May 2016: My surgery date is getting close. I haven't built up enough nerves to post before pics yet but I will soon. I will be so relieved when this is over. I really can't wait. I am scared though but through prayer and faith I will be alright. Updated on 5 May 2016: Time is winding down I only have 15 more days to go and I'm getting nervous. How do u let go of a part of u that has been there for so long? Even through all the pain the many years of stress it's almost time.
The cost of breast lift may vary from region to region, and even from surgeon to surgeon in a particular area. In my area, a breast lift typically runs around 7000. But don't price shop. Find a surgeon you trust to give you the result you are looking for. Good luck!
Your results appear to be as expected given your preoperative anatomy and asymmetry. A breast implant simply increases volume. In order to achieve more symmetry and an improved appearance, a second stage breast lift would be needed.
There are various ways that plastic surgeons counsel their patients on implant size. In my practice, I try to encourage people not to get caught up on the "numbers" or the "cup size." When individuals look at pre and post op photos and see numbers like 250cc or 400cc, they feel that that number will make their own breasts look like the ones in the photos. However, the individual in the photo is probably at a different starting point with breast volume and base width, etc. So a 250cc implant on them may not look anything like a 250cc implant on you. Cup sizes differ between manufacturers, so that is also unreliable. I think that focusing on numbers and cup sizes is what is responsible for people not always being happy with their postoperative size (#1 complaint for those undergoing breast augmentation is that they didn't go big enough). What I have found works best for me is to look at proportions on "wish pics." My patients send me photos of what they would like their desired proportions to look like. Then I ask that they place trust in my hands to get them as close to those proportions as I can do intraoperatively. I use sizers prior to selection of the permanent implants to help me get a good idea of what things will look like. This has worked extremely well with my patients. The tradeoff is that you will need to find a plastic surgeon who you feel understands your goals and who you trust to make those decisions intraoperatively. Good luck with your upcoming surgery! For more information on breast augmentation, please visit the link below.
A breast lift or a breast reduction would improve the aesthetic appearance of your breasts. The question that needs to be answered is whether or not you want a much smaller breast. A breast reduction would hopefully alleviate you neck and shoulder tension/pain but will leave you with a smaller breast. A lift would reshape and reposition your breast but would likely not improve your neck and shoulder discomfort. Insurance companies will generally cover a reduction if symptoms are present but will require a certain weight of tissue to be removed. My best advice is to seek guidance from a plastic surgeon in your area that will help explain the benefits/risks of each procedure. Good luck! For more information on breast lift, please visit the link below.
A common misunderstanding is what liposuction and tummy tucks can do. Neither is a good option for weight loss. Liposuction can help remove some fat in problem areas, while a tummy tuck can help remove excess skin. These two procedures are good for contouring but not for weight loss. Your options for weight loss include diet and exercise, medical therapy and bariatric surgery. Seek a referral from your primary care physician. After you have lost a significant amount of weight, plastic surgery can help with contouring. Good luck!
