I got Botox for frown lines 11 days ago. Injections were given above eyebrows and in-between eyebrows, more on right side to level eyebrows. Since day 4 I felt eye discomfort as if something in my eye. I am at day 11, I have some slight eye pain on and off and I have felt a shooting or sharp pain for a second around 4 different times. Could this be threatening to my eye sight? Will this go away? Please advise.

I would normally use around 60 units of Botox to treat the forehead, 11's and crow's feet in a patient. Some people could use more or less however. If your budget is for 35 units, I would either try and divide it equally between the three areas or only treat two areas. If you...
Thank you for your question. Usually it takes about 2 weeks for the Botox to settle in, so it could be the muscle just settleing in. I would recommend a follow up with your provider. I hope this helps!
If you had too little Botox injected, it could be that your muscles were able to recover more quickly. A very small percentage of patients are resistant to Botox. If you had too little, it could have resulted as a result of you not wanting to spend more, or a poor determination by the injector....
