The results of Botox should last 3-4 months once the optimal number of units has been established. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
If you don't like the dimpled, uneven appearance of your chin with certain facial expressions, the mentalis muscle can be injected safely with neuromodulators like Botox. Although "off-label" according to the FDA, this is a common procedure done in our practice to smooth out unwanted dynamic wrinkles. Fillers are not a good option for this spot on your face.
