Reverse Voluma suggestions other than dissolve?

I went in to have Botox and juvaderm several years ago and had an awful reaction that affected my vision and left my face swollen and large grey marks on both sides of my face. Found out injector grabbed the wrong syringe and placed voluma in cheeks. It’s been almost 6 years and still have skin discoloration and lumps. What can be done now to resolve issue if anything?

It may be possible to undergo some treatments to reduce and reverse the voluma filler. We have many treatments that aim to fix discoloration such as chemical peels, ICON laser facials, and PicoSure focus. It is difficult to say exactly what would work without seeing your skin in person.

The Voluma is gone, but you may have some scarring. Laser or chemical peels may help the discoloration. Careful steroid injections may help the lumps. Please go visit with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who does a lot of filler injections.

To dissolve HA fillers the most reliable method is through injections of hyaluronidase.  If you are having discoloration I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon's office for an evaluation to determine the nature of the discoloration.  Chemical peels, lasers, or even topical creams can be used to improve this.
