Can fat transfer be used instead of Voluma/for lift to the face or is it not thick enough and fat transfer is better suited just for mid-face/filling in hollow checks/gaunt face?

Your one post is not in the best position to see your face and cheek bones well. Hair is covering part of your cheeks. However, what I see looks like a very pretty face that does not need larger cheeks.
I do not know whom you have contacted, but I still use Voluma with great results and have done so for many years. I also use Revance, Sculptra and Restylane.
