There can be some bruising after liposuction, but I recommend following up with your Doctor for a formal evaluation and after care instructions. You may have swelling for 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. You are still on the healing process it can take up to 6 months to see your final results, swelling and bruising is normal so i recommend to be patient. Thank you for your question. Bruising is common after lipo and it can be extensive occasionally like in your case. I recommend you to continue to follow instructions from your PS and see him/her for evaluation. Usually bruising will go away in 10-14 days.
