Thank you for your question. I usually have my patients wear a custom fitted compression garment for at least three weeks following surgery. I encourage them to wear it as long as as they can comfortably tolerate it after that. I have them transition over to a spanx type garment...

Thank you for your question and pictures. You can have excellent improvement with what I like to call microsuction. This is liposuction done with a very thin cannula. The incisions are at the corner of your mouth, so they are not visible. This can be done under local anesthesia.

Alidod.  Swelling after any type of liposuction is normal and will resolve over time. I have never prescribed Lasix or any other diuretics after liposuction surgery to reduce swelling, and this is extremely unusual. If you have medical issues that require a diuretic, that is a different story. ...
