Had Aqualipo 5 days ago, extremely bloated and retaining water. Prescribed lasix. How safe is it?

My Aqualipo was performed in my back ,lower and upper abdomen and my love handles.I feel extremely bloated and retaining water in my back area. My dr prescribed lasix but I read the side effects .how safe is it to take.

You can have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Alidod.  Swelling after any type of liposuction is normal and will resolve over time. I have never prescribed Lasix or any other diuretics after liposuction surgery to reduce swelling, and this is extremely unusual. If you have medical issues that require a diuretic, that is a different story. Ask your Plastic Surgeon why this choice of therapy is being recommended And also consult with your medical doctor.
