How long will it take to see good noticeable results with Sculptra? 2 weeks post op. (photos)

Sculptra stimulates fibroblasts to make collagen and elastic fibers, in addition to improving the appearance of the skin trough the generation of a healthy dermis. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator, which means it actually works by having your body produce new collagen to take the place of the injected Sculptra microspheres (which dissolve). Hi Christian.  Normally Sculptra results will show after 4-8 weeks.  The collagen building process does not happen overnight so with Sculptra you need to be patient.  If before photos were taken, we wouldn't recommend even looking before a month and more likely 2.  Also, Sculptra typically involves more than one visit.  While you are very young, you still may require additional vials to achieve your goals.  Good luck and to view photos, click the link below.

Treatment with Sculptra usually involves a series of injections to gradually produce the desired result.  Normally after a Sculptra treatment, the face will look immediately fuller but this goes down in a week or so.  After this time, there is some gradual filling as the stimulatory process takes place.  It can take 1-2 months to see the full effect from a treatment.  I recommend waiting at least one month in between treatment sessions.  

Sculptra is mostly done as a serious of up to three treatments and and since it is a collagen simulator it has take up to 2 months to see some of the results .

I can see from the photos you’ve provided that you are the ideal candidate for treatment with Sculptra.  You can expect to see results around 4-6 weeks and the degree of volume achieved depends on how your body responds to the treatment.  I advise patients to make a month follow-up appointment after treatment to re-evaluate if an additional vial is needed.

I think it takes at least 3-4 months to see the full results of Sculptra. You might start seeing the collagen in about 4-6 weeks. Typically, I will have a rough idea of how much volume is needed and inject at about 6 weeks if more was originally planned. Most people don't want to wait over a year to get their results.

the body to produce new collagen at the sites of injection. The treatment areas
will appear fuller immediately after an injection because of
the injected local anesthetic (if used) and swelling from the Sculptra
injections, and will generally subside in 3-5 days. The true results of the
Sculptra injection will gradually appear over a period of a few months and
provide a natural and youthful contour. You may start to see a difference
beginning around 6-8 weeks, but the Sculptra will continue to have an effect for many
months thereafter. For the greatest results, patients generally have 2 to 3
sessions over a few months.
