Yes you may have both done same day or day before or after. No adverse events between the two. I have done this for years
It may be a more prudent idea to have both done on the same day as your physician can perform the Botox before the effects of the chemical peel set in. In our office, we use lighter chemical peels once monthly to help improve skin tone and clarity. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
You can do a peel on the same day as botox. I suggest seeing an expert who does combination therapies. Best, Dr. Emer.
To answer your question you could but I would not recommend proceeding this way. The skin is technically "injured" after a peel. Personally, I do place BOTOX into injured skin. I would perform your peel and once your skin has healed perform your BOTOX.
Hello, and yes you can. Keep in mind that you will have some sensitvity, need to cleanse your face and follow the post-treatment regimen. Make sure that this includes good sunblock as well to avoid any hyperpigmentation. Best of Luck!
I do light peels and injections together on the same day all the time. I actually think you might just hate the vigorous cleansing and alcohol required before injections are done because the skin is sensitive and the prep might be too irritating the next day when the dryness is worsening.
There is no problem with doing a chemical peel the day before or even the same day as your botox treatment. Treating fine lines and wrinkles on not only on the surface but on a muscular level as well.
I do not see a problem doing BOTOX and a peel on the same day. However, if you are having a Jessner's peep or a combination Jessner/TCA peel I would do the BOTOX after the peel because in our office we precede the Jessner with a vigorous soap and water preparation and vigorously apply the peelMy suggestion is to ask the docor to wait at least a half hour after the peel before doing BOTOX.in any case please discuss these recommendation with your dermatologist or plastic surgeon doing the procedures.
I would not advise a chemical peel in this location. You may cause more harm than good. First I would see a board certified dermatologist to see if what you are noticing is just normal skin or if there is a real medical problem. Some medical conditions that happen elsewhere on the...
Cortisone creams can help with some chemical peel reactions. However, this is a product that should be used under the supervision of a physician. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
