There is an art to micro needling. Dragging and scraping the needles across your face is destructive,&nbsp;counterproductive and causes undesirable trauma. A more perpendicular method assures triggering a&nbsp;wound healing cascade without scarring the tissue more.&nbsp;If PRP or growth factors were used it will heal but will take time. I’ve had microneedling done and it’s been 3 days and my face still looks like this, with visible “needle marks/ track marks”. I’m asian with darker features, just wondering if this is something I should be worried about? I’ve had microneedling done before and I healed within 2 days. But this time, she did use longer needles as I have pitted scars. Many thanks

I had my first session of Dana Explore 2 days ago for pore reduction, and I have red stamp marks. When I did the Intracel 3 years ago, the downtime was very long (2 whole weeks to full recovery, but by day 10 I could use normal makeup to conceal the light stamp marks that remained) but the results were well worth it. I was told the downtime would be shorter with the Explore but my skin is extremely red! How long will my skin take to fully recover? Will I get results as good as with the Intracel?

Hello jf2017, In looking at the photos&nbsp;I would only recommend that you see a oculoplastic surgeon for the&nbsp;left eye ptosis since it's a specialized technique that not many surgeons perform. Now, as for the concern of&nbsp;your&nbsp;jawline, I think&nbsp;injecting botox might give you&nbsp;aesthetically unpleasing&nbsp;results and your BEAUTIFUL!&nbsp; Best of Luck!!&nbsp;

I would love to get my face slimmer and my jawline less square. When I smile, my face looks very round. (I will attach a picture). Also, as you can tell I suffer from a lazy eye and would like to know if Botox or something could help to raise the lid, making my eyes more proportional. Hello Snigit, There is always a risk of bleeding,&nbsp;bruising and swelling&nbsp;associated with dermal fillers. The bruise you have is not uncommon so don't worry, it will subside in a few days. However, if symptoms get worse, pain, hot to the touch, redness, I would recommend you see the physician. Best of Luck!

Hello Joannariza, Thats a very good question. Microneedling with PRP is always a great way to start. I am left with these deep acne scars all over my face for having acne during college. I haven’t had active acne since 2010 but I have these deep scars, skin discoloration, redness and large pores. The discoloration is covered well with a light foundation but the deep scars I could not hide. Wondering if Mircroneedling would make a difference. I am scarred of laser treatment. I’m not looking for perfection, just at least a great improvement. Thank you!

The&nbsp;best way to&nbsp;answer your questions is, I would recommend that you set up a consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Can dermal fillers be used? Absolutely, but how much and will it achieve the aesthetically appealing results that you are hoping for? The Dernal fillers do not address the Laxity of the skin or the Platysmal muscle of th neck, or the laxity of the jowls and&nbsp;only surgery can help. It's always worth setting up a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can address your concerns and talk about&nbsp;the varies surgical&nbsp;procedures they have to offer from Rhytidectomy, Platysmaplasty, J-Plasma, etc. I hope this helps and best of luck!&nbsp;

I am 43 and generally look good for my age. I have great skin with no blemishes or skin complaints. I have Botox to my forehead, frown lines and crows feet. When I'm smiling I look fine, but if I relax my face and look down, I have extremely visible volume loss with hollow cheeks which is causing a saggy jawline! I feel like my lower face belongs to someone else! Help! What is the solution? If filler, which type and what volume would I need to sort this out? Or is there a surgical solution?

Good question&nbsp;and thank you for the photo. Microneedling is a good way to start, but I would recommend LaseMD-Thulium Non-abalative fractional resurfacing. This rejuvenates the skin and Pigment reduction or RF pixel combo with impact bleaching infusion-Melasma Reduction.&nbsp;Of course you can also try the Photo Facial as this helps with sun damage, Pigmentation. Make sure to use&nbsp;a good&nbsp;facial regimen with a SPF-46. Best of Luck!

Hello kmpettit, It's totally normal for your skin to appear red and rough after you've had microneedling done, but the majority of the redness should subside with 24 hours. If the treatment was more aggressive, the redness can last longer. Best of Luck!

I had micro needling performed with and an Endymed machine for the first time 48 hours ago. I was told that down time was minimal and not warned about the continued red skin I have and no mention was made of the rough skin that appeared about 18 hours after. I can still see needle marks on my face. From other pictures I've seen my situation doesn't seem normal. I had a series of photo facials, cool touch laser and IPL, 5 months ago. Did I not wait long enough to have the micro needling done?

Since I've become really mean and fit, I hate my active smile lines. I've tried a total of 2 fillers in that area. The first one I liked. It seemed to diffuse and fill in that area generally. As you can see I don't have concrete lines but rather laxity. The second is what I don't like and I'm having it dissolved next week. I tried it since it has longer lasting results but it seems harder and almost visible and does nothing for me when I smile. Recommendations??

What filler would you recommend for my active smile lines?
