3 days later, I noticed that the fat pads of my cheeks did not rise when I smiled and therefore creating a very pronounced nasolabial fold and the fat almost "hands over" my smile line. My cheeks and under eye area feel heavy, and the fat pads look lower at rest. I'm concerned that when the muscle strength returns, the fat will still sit lower on my face than before.

There are a few things that could be related to your results from Dysport not lasting. One, as you stated, is that the injector did not inject correctly. Another option is that the Dysport was not "fresh" or was overdiluted. A third option could be that you were undertreated, meaning not...
I'm sorry you are unhappy with your Dysport treatment. The effects of Dysport are temporary and should fade gradually over three to four months. There currently is no reversal agent for neuromodulators. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
It can take up to two weeks to see your final results from your Dysport treatment. If after that time you are unsatisfied you can return to your injector for an evaluation. The touch up dose given will be dependent on the need. You will not start over as the units received are still working...
