I understand that internal sutures are needed to put all the tissue back together, and that typically permanent (polyblend or nylon or whatnot) sutures would be used for this. Sadly, I have had a reaction to every form of permanent suture, even nylon (I understand that this is almost unheard of. First time my surgeons had seen it.. autoimmune stuff) which required eventual removal. While I know internal healing takes longer, can the 6ish month absorbable stitches be effective for this procedure?
