I am a down to earth, honest, perfectionist with an artists eye for detail. I take great pride in my craft and truly care that every single patient is satisfied with their results.
Dr. York Yates exceeded my expectations! He is truly an artist. He is so detailed in his work. As a very fit mom of 2 beautiful babies my body had taken a beating from them. I had worked so hard for 6 years in the gym to try to manage the extra skin and muscle separation from having my 2nd. I finally decided it was time to let someone else help me achieve the results that I desired. From Dr. Yates staff to Dr. Yates my experience was incredible. They deeply care about their patients, they listen, and are always willing to go the extra step to help. Dr. Yates has changed my life. I am 3 weeks post op from my mommy makeover (Muscle Repair, TT, and BA) and am in complete love with the results! They’re so beautiful. I can’t imagine how they’ll continue to look in the coming weeks, months, and year. My recovery has been a breeze! If you truly want the best results, ones that feel custom and natural to you then York Yates is the one.
Dr Yates has changed my life! I got exactly what I wanted, and never felt pressure to do more or less. Dr Yates is very personable, easy to talk to and his staff is wonderful! I highly recommend his expertise to anyone and everyone looking to do major or minor surgeries.
Dr Yates was amazing. After I had several fail attempts with another Plastic Surgen I went to Dr Yates and he was able to help me achieve the look I wanted on my right breast that had been badly messed up. Thank you Dr Yates I’m a week post op and I’m happy with my results so far
I am 3 weeks post op from my breast augmentation and I am in love with how they look! I had 4 babies in 5 years and nursed three of them for a year each. Needless to say, my boobs were not the same as they were pre pregnancy. Dr. Yates and his staff have been incredible from the first consultation and through my recovery. The entire process was so smooth. Surgery day could not have gone better. He has his own private surgical team and operating room (which is stunning btw, wow) which made it much more comfortable than having surgery in a hospital. The recovery has been great. The pain the first couple of days after surgery was really well managed with just ibuprofen and Tylenol. Dr. Yates and his staff are super quick to respond to messages and answered all my questions. I just really could not say enough good things about my experience. And the boobs are just perfection! I would recommend him to anyone!!
I had an explant last year (different provider) and was left with severe adhesions and limited breast tissue on my lower pole. I was desperate to have it fixed. Dr. Yates was able to release the adhesions and added a bit of fat (only 25-50 cc's). The fat was added 1) for volume and 2) to act as a "barrier" to keep the adhesions from re-attaching. I am only two days post-op and absolutely mind blown by the results. I couldn't be happier. I'll keep this thread updated as the swelling goes down and see how the fat retained. Hoping for the best! Dr. Yates is a lifesaver! Honest, kind, patient and realistic about expectations. 10/10. I know there are other women struggling with the same issue. I hope you find this review and reach out to Dr. Yates. There is hope!
Amazing experience!!! I am 3 weeks post-op from a mommy makeover which included a full tummy tuck and breast augmentation revision. Dr Yates knew I would be a very difficult case due to a couple prior breast revisions by other surgeons out of state. I also made it much harder on him due to prior liposuction scarring all over my abdomen…he accepted the challenge and worked his MAGIC!!! I am so extremely pleased with my results already. I will need another final surgery on my breasts in 3 months but, this was discussed and agreed upon with Dr Yates ahead of time. I have the cutest and sexiest belly button ever, not to mention a flat defined set of abs. Can’t wait to see what I will all look like in 3-6 months. I mainly used over the counter Tylenol for my discomfort, I can’t say that I was ever in pain, days 4 and 5 were the worst but other than that no biggie. My scars are looking beautiful. I would like to send a shout out to his anesthesiologist, I had an impeccable nap and absolutely no nausea after the surgery… which I was really worried about. I cannot say enough about Dr Yates excellent staff. Professional, knowledgeable and so willing to go out of their way for whatever I request or need. His patient advocate Lindsay is always there to answer any of my questions through their patient app- and so is Dr Yates… he ALWAyS responds to my messages I send directly to him. This makes it so nice! I did extensive research to find Dr Yates and trust him completely, only wishing I would have found him many years ago.
I am a week out from a mommy makeover procedure with breast augmentation and full tummy tuck with muscle and hernia repair. Still lots of healing to go but I'm already in love with the results! The whole process was so easy from booking a consultation to surgery to follow up. The in-office surgery suite was wonderful and surgery day was so simple and quick. My only regret is not booking with Dr. Yates long ago!
Over the years I've had 4 breast surgeries. Without going into too much detail my experiences were not great and one that went very wrong, which obligated me to get a full explant. One year after my explant surgery I was eager to have my breasts back. I researched several surgeons across the US to make sure I went to the very best! Thankfully, after months of research a close friend of mine that received 3 surgeries from Dr. Yates, highly recommended him. My friend emphasized his incredible skill and raved about his ultra friendly staff . I'm thrilled to say I booked my appointment shortly after the recommendation. My surgery could not have gone better! His staff was so organized, friendly, prompt, caring and easy to work with. Dr. Yates was SO knowledgable and answered all my detailed questions. I felt incredibly comfortable with him. Day of surgery was so smooth and seamless. Needless to say, it was the best surgery I've ever had. The anesthesiologist was a five star! I had zero reactions or side effects. When my friend said skilled - she meant it! Not only do my breasts look SO beautiful, but I had no pain. I took a Tylenol 1 day and that's it! I was up and moving within one hour after surgery. So STOP looking any further and book your appointment. You will be so glad you did!
First, let me say the Dr Yates is amazing. My former surgeon (Dr Fryer, in case anyone local is trying to decide between these two surgeons) was competent, but positioned my implants quite low and left me with "crease scars) that were an inch and an inch-and-a-half above my crease. When I went in for a follow-up, Dr Fryer assured me that this was an excellent aesthetic result and, in any case, it would be impossible to change the implant/scar positioning, so that no matter what, I would always have scars up on my breasts and a double bubble on the left side. I decided to get a consult with Dr Yates, hoping he could give me better news, and not only did he do just that, but he delivered! I'm just one day post-op, but I can already tell that he addressed my concerns beautifully. Not only that, but he also made my breasts more symmetrical, which I hadn't even mentioned. If you are on the fence, please don't hesitate to see Dr Yates! He will listen to all your concerns and follow through with a beautiful result. <3 Updated on 3 Jan 2024: Dr Yates performed a repair/replace procedure and it couldn't have gone any better! My former surgeon (Dr Fryer, in case anyone in the area is trying to decide between these two surgeons) was overall competent, but had positioned my implants too low, left me with scars over an inch above my crease, and a "double bubble" on my left side. At my follow up with my former Dr, he only tried to assure me that this was an excellent aesthetic result and that, even if he went in surgically again, there would be no way to reposition everything such that my scars would line up with my crease.Dr Yates assured me that, not only could he reposition my implants, but that he could also add support mesh to help ensure that my implants won't eventually migrate down into their former pocket that Dr Yates repaired. At only one day post op, I'm already in love and can tell her pulled through with all my concerns, even making my boobs a bit more symmetrical, which I hadn't even mentioned to him as something that bothered me.If you're on the fence, please don't hesitate to go to Dr Yates! He listens, is a true artist, and perfectionist. Thank you so much, Dr Yates!
505 cc’s, Sientra, silicone gel, high profile. Lollipop incision. 31 years old. 5’ 3”. 134 lbs. I had an excellent experience with Dr. York Yates in Layton, Utah. He calmed all of my worries and the process went so smoothly. Especially on the day of my surgery. I’m so happy with my results!
Based on the photos, you should expect a great result. Can you clarify what processes you went through to arrive at your initial decision of 325 cc M+P and what changed. Was what changed your goals, the original measurements were determined to be wrong, or something else? There will be a significant difference in dimension between the 325 cc M+P and a 380 MP and only one of them can have the right dimensional fit. I would recommend asking your plastic surgeon for those details and it may be time to go back through the sizing process including measurements, sizing, and goal photos. I love 3D imaging for a final confirmation of size, shape, and proportion to make sure I am on the same page with my patients. For most, it is very calming and reassuring. It looks like you are in the SLC area and not many of our surgeons have Vectra 3D imaging. If you would like to come in and get a 3D scan and imaging on Monday before your surgery, I could have my staff do that for you free of charge without a formal consult.
360 lipo is a relatively new term. Basically, it is just a shortcut description of abdomen and waist liposuction (360 degrees around). Many patients also benefit from back liposuction at the same time but whether that would be "included" in 360 lipo would vary from office to office.
It looks like you are borderline for a tummy tuck vs liposuction There isn't a lot of apparent muscle separation, at least in the lateral photo (assuming this is relaxed). You will get a tighter, flatter result with a tummy tuck but the trade-off is more scar, risk and recovery. A full tummy tuck is not your only option and you may consider a mini tummy tuck with liposuciton which it looks like you are a fine candidate for. This would tighten the lower skin, reduce fat and create beautiful abdomen contours if performed expertly. Best of luck.
There is probably not enough fat to make a remarkable change in shape. The good news is that the skin looks great for liposcution. So long as you are expecting a conservative change, you are likely a candidate.
Limitations to fat transfer are 1) donor volume and 2) starting breast volume. I liken it to filling a sponge with water, the water representing fat. Larger sponges (breasts) can hold more volume. In this case, it looks like you don't have a lot of fat to spare and the breast volume would likely graft in the 75-100 cc larger than current (final volume increase). That would put you closer to a B cup. The alternative is an implant, of course, where you can choose the volume increase as you wish.
