Does this nose look too large/wide?

I'm glad you asked this question since I cannot stress the importance of parental support when teenagers undergo rhinoplasty surgery. When I'm evaluating a teenager, if a parent seems vehemently opposed, I shy away from performing the operation, since it is completely elective and should be eagerly desired by the guardian, and the patient. As a Dad, I believe that we are only as happy as our least happy child. You may wish to consider going to several consultations with reputable rhinoplasty specialist so you can get an idea of what is involved and what changes would occur. Her nose is too wide both at the nasal bridge as well as the base. She would benefit from a rhinoplasty.

Your daughter’s nose is wide. I perform rhinoplasties in girls 16 years old but it depends on the situation. If the nose is not terrible I encourage them to wait.

Mostly your daughter is not having any functional problems with her nose. She wants it for cosmetic purpose. We devide nose in three parts as upper, mid and lower third. Her upper and mid vault seems to be broad. She may require Rhinoplasty in future but Let her skeletal growth be complete, early surgery may not be able to give her desired results.

The one posted from few photos, demonstrates a split or sped nasal bones. More photos would be better to observe, but it is always best to go for an in person or virtual consultation with a board-certified surgeon that specializes in facial plastic nasal plastic or general plastic surgery. Then a discussion with the teenager and yourself needs to take place. After that a decision can be made. Good luck.

Your daughter’s nose does look a bit wide. At the same time she is quite attractive and should not have issues “being liked by the boys”
It seems all womes are highly concerned with how they look and with young women it is often on the border of being obsessive.
Not sure if you are the father or mother. I’m guessing you are the father.
It always ideal to wait but in the end the most important variable is making sure you chose a sufficient skilled and experienced provider.
Rhinoplasty surgery can potentially be difficult. Look for senior providers who focus exclusively on rhinoplasty or this represents a large percentage of their career.
I will occasionally operate on minors but their concerns need to be bordering on looking disfigured or highly abnormal before I do. I would not do most purely cosmetic operations on minors. It’s generally always better if both child and parents are on the same page first. If not I will usually decline.
