I got a rhinoplasty 7 months ago and I believe I may have an internal valve collapse or mid valve collapse. When I lie down on my side with the collapsed side towards the ceiling, it is harder to breathe through the collapsed nostril. Like the weight of the skin collapses even more. My doctor said it’s not functional, and he plans to put filler in this week. Is this correct? My breathing isn’t the best but it’s not the worst. Just a little bothersome. Not sure if that is swelling or collapse.

The indentation you noted is not really in the area for valve collapse so you are probably OK there. If it's something that bothers you, a filler can easily be injected in the area to make it a little smoother. Be sure to see an expert injector for consultation.
