Remove tip sutures after 3 months - too late to return to original shape? (Photo)

I had a suture-only tip refinement procedure . semi-blunt and semi-elastic curved needles and semi elastic USP 3-0 sutures (long time absorbable) were used. You can see the in and out points on the photos. I failed to explain that I only want very minor improvement instead of significant change. The surgeon said the suture is removable but now he says I need to wait 3 months. I am very worried that 3 months is enough to form scar tissue that holds the nose in it's new shape.
