How important is getting dental infections ruled out before getting breast implants?

Educateme4
I am scheduled for a mommy makeover (tt, breast aug and lift) in 11 days. I recently just found out less than 48 hrs ago that you should not have any dental infections when you get implants as they can spread to your implants. (I have already scheduled an appt with a dentist to confirm or rule out any possible infections) My question is if this is so important why are there no questions about dental health/tooth pain etc on the questionairres or when they obtain your medical info/history?
